As someone noticed, it has some of the older Shercoparts in the chassi but it is still a real good bike overall. I had a newsletter from Sherco in spannish yesterday. It says Sherco are releasing a 2010 budgetversion called Sherco Access with the "old" chassis with the 2,5 and 2,9 twostroke engines (Not the 3,2 4T). The price of the bike is very attractive but my question is what components are changed on the bike? Are they the same as on the 2009 bikes or are they replaced with cheap crappy parts just to cut the price?

Any suggestions on what oil to use in a 3,2 4T?

I have just bought a 1989 Fantic 305. The engine has a bad piston and bearings and to repair it I am in need of an exploded view of the engine. Has anybody got that?

I have a problem with my 08 Sherco 3,2 4T. The bike works very well in the mid and top rpmrange but it is idles bad and it sometimes stops. This is when the engine is warm. Where do I start looking for the problem?

I did not accept it and my local dealer will send a new fender for free. I was just wondering if any one else has had the same experience.

I ordered a new rearfender for my Sherco 3,2 4t from my local Shercodealer but instead I got a new propeller! The fender was all twisted so I had to work it for more than half an hour with the heatgun and bend it back. It still is a little twisted but it is much better now. This is the second rearfender out of three I have ordered that has been twisted real bad. Is this a common problem or do I just have some bad luck when I get new fenders?

This is from my Sherco manual: With the motorcycle supported on a stand so that the rearwheel is elevated off the ground, the chain should have 3 cm of free play between the tensioner and swingarm. The top part tension comes automatically from this setting.

Hi there. I am a greybeard from Malmoe in southern Sweden. This year I returned to trials after more than 20 years! I bought a Beta Rev3 270 (2000 model) in May this year an since then I have changed bike twice! I sold the Beta to a friend and got me a Sherco 2,9 (2003 model) and of course another friend bought that one from me a couple of weeks later! So now I own a Sherco 2,9 Cabestany Replica (2007). This bike is truly amazing so I think I will keep it for at least a couple of weeks more...... Anyway, I am glad that I am back on a trialsbike again after all these years.
