I have a 1977 TY250D that I think is a Canadian model. I once had a TY175 that was from Canada and it was white and red like this 250. All the other TY250D's I have seen in the US are a light blue. Does any body know?

It shifts on the right. It was missing the bodywork (tank and seat combo) when I got it. I know that there were several versions with the 21M prefix.

I bought a basket case Montesa 247 Cota today. Frame and motor number is 21M2105. How can I find out what year it is? It is missing the body work and I need to know what body work to get.

Cool bike. I don't remember ever seeing one before.

I think I would want to run in the Premier Lightweight class. Does anybody know where to get Sammy Miller parts in the US? I have emailed B&J Racing twice but did not get a reply.

Yes, I have an AHRMA rulebook. I have been a member since 1993 but have only raced dirt track. I was more interesed in what mods people have done to there bikes to make them work.

Tony, Yes, I would like to build an AHRMA legal Tiger Cub. Thanks for the reply. I read your Tiger Cub blog articles. I also read the Majesty ones. That is another bike I want to build. I have several TY's.

I would like to convert a Triumph Tiger Cub for trials. I have two Triumph Tiger Cubs basket cases. I would like to know what should be done. What forks to use? What motor mods should I do? What aftermarket trials parts are there for a cub? One of them somebody had started to convert already it is a roller.

Anybody know where I can get a kickstart lever and front fender for a GRM Trialsmaster?

Here is a picture of the other side of the motor.

No, I bought the Wassell at an estate sale about a month ago.
