  1. I might email them re Beta's....
  2. Do they fit a 2007 rev 3? How much and from where? My shock is weeping oil as I am keeping the bike longterm I might consider an Ohlins damper.
  3. Michelin are clearing stock to make way for the release in 2012 of the new coloured X12 trials tyres. The X12s will be available in the same construction as the X lite but the added bonus will you can have them in any current bike colour. This means red for Beta or green for Ossa etc. Black will still be available but they are making a clear version for arena trials and non marking white for indoor stuff. This (so I am told) is so that you can then use your bike in a community hall, church or school hall etc. This allows owners of such buildings to make an income from our sport. You need to email Michelin europe to register an interest by 12 noon today in order to get your free tyres. The deal is strictly one set of X11 tyres per rider. You also need to have Michelins on your bike already to be eligible. Go onto the MIchelin europ website and follow the link box they have created.
  4. I've had a couple of rides this week. Each one no mud and loads of grip. Nice tan!
  5. Seals missing, cross threaded or cap split?
  6. Anyone else managed to get out and ride in this fantastic weather? It is so nice to ride with a T shirt and no jacket. An added bonus means i don't need to get a rear rear tyre while it is so dry.
  7. Too loose or too tight would make a light alloy bracket snap. Check the torque.
  8. No. This one is for a Rev3 not an Evo. Send them an email or try someone like BVM Moto on the phone?
  9. Photo loaded and I have seen. Are you torqueing the bolt too tight? Check with Beta. Should there be washers fitted so allignment is correct? Check parts list from Beta. Bent brake disc/stuck caliper? Pads Ok etc? My 07 is different as the wheel spindle supports the brake caliper not that bracket. This must be why they changed the design? My money is the bolt is being tightened to much.
  10. My 07 has floaters front and rear. The photo won't load up though?
  11. I think there are You Tube guides that show similar stuff.... Try this. http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&frm=1&source=web&cd=1&ved=0CDIQtwIwAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DKOLddz9mxrw&ei=BU5vT8XtD5Sk0AX684WOAg&usg=AFQjCNFAqpUKbp4tsYtytiBMWqQuv39Hlw&sig2=ebp65r8CKsts4s80TDY5JA
  12. How about self marking in a good old honest way?
  13. I know this may sound simple but it may only be a blocked main jet?
  14. Just the silencer section? Take/dtrill out the riviets/bolts from the end cap. Extract the inards. Wrap perforated pipe with new packing material tightly. Fit inner perforated pipe, now wrapped in new packing material back into pipe enusring a snug fit. Poke extra material down into any gaps. Fit bolts/new rivets - couple of quid from B&Q for a pop rivet gun. Fit back onto bike and ride.
  15. Yep. You need to tighten one side (the stopper) and loosen the push rodside to compensate - equal and opposites and all that.
  16. Get another later Beta. You won't regret it.
  17. Wouldn't look good on me either. I'd be like a golf club with a day glo end (hitting bit).
  18. They do look good. Until they start to come off and look sh1 -----te. Make sure you use contact cleaner to clean the rim really well before you try to fit or it will be an expensive project. After seeing them put on well and in the flesh I am tempted....

    Fuel Hose

It looks like fuel breather hose not fuel delivery/supply hose. It seems weird you get 2m of the stuff just for the fuel supply pipe? I can understand more is needed if you are doing all the vent pipes etc. I'd email the seller a question through ebay. "is it fuel supply pipe i.e. tank to carb"
  20. Yeah. Get some miles on it.
  21. Why is that trials bikes seem to be the only thing on the planet that has constant clutch woes of one sort or another? The manufacturers need a slap!
  22. I agree. Any light gear is fine as long as it is changed regularly.
  23. I think thats the key. Find a lube that works when the bike is etc and for you to get to your chosen place. Then for it not to attract loads of dirt. This is why I use a light oil. It always dissappears once you get muddy and then it is easy to wash out the dirt once home.
  24. Thats true. If you have O ring or X ring chains they don't need lubing as the grease is held in/protected by the seals. Lubing the surface keeps it looking nice though. My feeling is if you have the wonga get an O ring or X ring. If not just clean regularly to get grit out of the rollers.
  25. Loved it! Really nice woodland route in perfect weather. I now know it will be worth putting on a better (new) rear tyre for the next round. I also know I need to get my shock repaired as having no damping at all makes for an exciting ride and I need to get used to the markers and not miss them. I gave away a bucket full of marks doing silly things that could be prevented by better preparation. All in good time I suppose....
