weather over here not too bad right now,quite mild and very dry for the time of year
should be warmer than last year at bangor anyway,its a bit more sheltered up in the forest!

thats the actual bike,aint seen it in the flesh yet,monday hopefully,guy has told me its almost mint! all very tight,and everything working as it should be!

aha!
take the bike for a good run beforehand it gets your chain warm and the lube soaks in and dosent just sit on the surface!
this is the key to not having lube allover your frame etc

ive a gas gas txt280 2002 model!
does anyone know if the newer models plastics will fit,rear mudgaurd?

drill a hole tap it and thread a small bolt in that way you can drain it periodically

completely p****d with it now!
flywheel stays on now,but bike wont fire!
ive got a good spark etc,but bike just refuses to fire up?
ive adjusted and readjusted the timing,still no luck?
its now beyond a joke!

if your using a puller that your putting2 bolts into the threaded holes in your flywheel just make sure you dont thread them in to much,or they will probably touch the stator windings in behind the flywheel!
i did it and its cost me dearly!

yip might have to come down to another flywheel if it dosent hold this time1

yeah the original lock washers there,i also have a new spring washer,ill give it a go tonight again!

when u say the crank must have a lockwasher between the flywheel and crank?
do u just mean the washer that sits under the nut that you torque to hold the flywheel on?
i take it theres not supposed to be a washer behind the flywheel?

well how doi know when ive got it prepped correctly with the lapping?
i mean if i lap it for 10 mins,am i looking for a really smooth shiny surface?
