Great stuff, keep the reviews a coming!!

So how is everyone liking there new Evo's? I'm saving for the 290 near for end of the year, so I'd like to get feedback from people who have put some miles on it.
How is the power on hills compared to the 270 Rev? Is the motor quite a noticable improvement over the 270 which you can't really complain about?
How long of a ride can you get from the little tank? Trail riding average I'm guessing 1hr???? Trials about 1.5hr??
So ya, just brag about your new bike, I'd like to hear the goods and the hopefully few bads!
Thanks guys!
Cheers

How do you take the old graphics off the tank and fenders and all that the easy way before applying a new graphics kit?
-
If your in Canada or the US, this is the cheapest you will find the front and rear Michelin trial tires.

I'm in Canada, so I get my stuff shipped to Ship Happens in Sumas WA http://www.shiphappenssumas.com They only charge $4.00 per box or tire to pick up. It beats having the store where you purchased the item from charge you an extra 50 bucks to get it into Canada.

Will the 08' white rev3 fender fit an 05 beta?
-
This works great for trail riding and a bit of trials.

What are the steps to properly replace the throttle cable on a 2005 Rev3?
Thanks.
I don't need to take off the carb right? Just unscrew the the slide mechanism at the top of it right????
-
Hi Aron, that sounds like a possiblity.
A little easier on the wallet. What is the history of the shock? WHo rebuilt it? How many hours are on it?
Thanks,
Chad

I have a stock 05 Rev3 270 and would like to upgrade the foot pegs. What do you guys like the best?
-
My shock has been leaking oil for a few months now and the yellow bumper has slid down from it's seat at the top of the shock where you usually can't even see it.
Now I'm in Canada, Vancouver B.C area, close to mountain motorsports (Brett and Bob Clark). Bob told me he can order parts for the shock but it's finding a guy who knows what he's doing to fix it. I"ve also heard I believe through here about a shock replacement program. You send them your old shock they will send one to you???
Who knows about that? Would they send a shock to Canada? Can someone fix mine? How much $$$$$ are we talking?
Thanks,
Chad

I go trail riding everyweekend for almost the last year and a half with my trials bike. It's a 05 Beta rev 3 270. The power just doesn't feel the same when I crack open the throttle now.
Who has done rings or piston and rings on there 05 270??
Just want to here some feedback when people thought it to be the right time to do the job? What did your bike feel like before and then after doing the top end?
Thanks,
Chad

A couple of weeks ago I stiffened up the rear spring with the proper tools. The adjusting ring was sure a tight one to turn like people say. I noticed that the shock itself was twisting a little bit each time I turned the ring. Is that normal first of all? I assumed it was.
Secondly, last night on the way to go riding we stopped at the gas station and I noticed something different about the appearance of the shock. I saw this yellow rubber piece the was laying at the top of the shock. I'm guessing it's a bumper that normal stays at the top of the shock to cushion everything when the shock bottoms out.
Is that right? Why is it not staying where is should? And lastly there was a little bit of oil on the rod.
What gives and what needs to be done? It still seems to work great though.
Thanks,
I want it perfect!

Hey everyone. My buddy is looking at getting this bike. Who knows about these years? I'm pretty sure it's an 98.
The motor feels really strong.
Anything to watch out for on this bike?
Any thoughts would be good!!
Thanks

Oops, my bad. I have a beta, thats why my brain sent me there. Shoot.

I rode 4 hours on Saturday before switching over to the original tank. It worked perfect! You could get 6.5 hours of riding out of both tanks.
-
The 270 will want to rip your arms off if your not ready when you crack the throttle in any of the first 3 gears from slow speed. The 250 will probably be a lot more tame, still torquey but tamer.
-
Can't believe no one knows the answer for this.
Someone?

I just added the beta tank seat to my bike (05-rev3 270), now it's packing some extra poundage. I would like to stiffen it up a bit. Do I need special tools or can I do it easily without?? Thanks
-
No more fears of running out of gas in the trails. Over 7 lts of fuel on the bike now. No more having to pack it on the back. Ah.... this is going to be nice.
-
ya, I go them now. Thanks! I actually can understand the language now.
-
good to hear you didn't use any of those washers etc. I'm been trying to figure where the heck all those go.
-
So how are people finding the trials bike game? It's addicting hey, and frustrating all at the same time. Just takes tons of practise and you will eventually clean the sections. Yep, that can be done.
-
I just got one for my 05 Rev3, but the instructions are in Italian. I need help with installation. Especially the fuel hose routing. I"ve have done a hose re routng mod to my carb so it doesn't leak fuel. I'm not sure how the fule line from the new seat integrades to my set up? It also has 3 allen head bolts that come with it. One of them is really long and the other 2 are shorter and in different lengths. Not sure where what side of the bike there for? CXan anyone explain?
Has anyone fully installed it to their 05 Rev3 yet? The 06 one is different. And the 4 stroker is different.
Thanks

Select what track you want, do time limit or no time limit. Be gentle with the arrow keys when operating the bike. Very sensitive. The blue trials bike is the most powerful.
There are many bike options to play with.
You can preload the suspention to help launch, just like real life. But you can also do flips, and back up if you need too.
Have fun. This gave can consume your time for those rainy days!

You like one certain level, especially the second level. That's all I'm going to say about that one. You can figure out the rest.
