The bike looks good but not unused. should it not have an embossed seat?
-
Brand new my a***. if that bike was brand new i will eat my hat. you could tell it wasnt new by looking at the pics..
-
My scorpa and my sherco do the same thing when you put coolant in, scared the crap out of me at first. the coolant will find its own level in the rad.
-
I had the same thing with my Sherco. I replaced everything, still a slight rattle (you have to really listern for it). I was told by a guy who had a lot to do with them that its normal. Some things wear and just never get replaced; cases etc. I have run mine for ages and it just never gets worse..
either that or its goosed!

The piston is corroded not sure about the cylinder as i dont want to take it apart if i cant get it back together. it works but there is only a couple of mm on the pad and they will need changeing within a couple of trials.
would you remove the piston to inspect the cylinder?
-
The problem is the pistons wont go back in so i casn put new pads in. they are corroded

The pistons in my front ajp 4 pot caliper could do with changeing, has anyone done this? i know you can get a kit but how easy is it to do, and how do you actualy get them out?

Have you topped the water up recently, did it do it the once or is it constant? my easy spewed its water out on a steep hill then it setteled and was fine ( very worrying at first )
