  2. I had this problem with my old 09 300 pro, i put a couple of washers on the mounting bracket. it seemed to do the trick.
  3. Went to have a look up yesterday it's still 3 ft deep in snow & really bad to get to the top of the road. John is working hard to get it open as soon as possible though.

    Footrests!

In my opinion the best footpegs by far are the Raptor Titanium's, not the cheapest of pegs but they are 100% worth the money, but if you want cheaper ones the S3 Hardrocks are good.
  5. They sell these Team Gas Gas UK ones if there any good to you, http://www.trialendurodirect.com/products/...G_Pro__791.html
  6. Was awesome last night, well done to Dabill for getting 3rd, he worked really hard for it, hope loris guibian is alright after that horrible crash on the cable reels, & well done to lampkin for beating bou on the races. i thought Jeroni rode really well, shame he had to go out just because of a time issue.
  7. The 300 rev 4 racing is very opposite to the 250, very aggresive, similar to a Sherco 320 4t, but the New Evo 4t 300 is a lot calmer & nicer to ride.
  8. SXS, Steve Saunders is expecting some stiffer fork springs coming in at the end of January.
  9. When i had my 09 300 pro which had a Flywheel weight fitted but also had a Keihin carb, the bottom end power was very aggresive & snappy but it sure would go if you wanted it to,but fine once you got used to it. but everyone who had a 5 minute go hated it because of how snappy it was. i also had a go on an 09 250, which was very different, very soft off the bottom, a bit to soft for my likeing but still a very good bike, not had a go on a 280 so can't really say anything about them, but i'm sure there very good as well.
  10. Hi, To be honest mate for a begginer a Sherco 320 4t would definatly be to aggresive, i have had a go on a 2008 version & i struggled a lot with it, a great bike just to powerful (well for me), it feels lighter than a 4RT but harder to control & probably noiser. a 4RT or a Beta Rev 4t/Evo 4t would be better really, there easier to ride & to control, I would reccomend the Beta Rev 4/Evo 4t which are really nice to ride. Try & get a few test rides on different bikes, see what you like the most! Good Luck Mate.
  11. Hi, The Evo 300 is a great bike, they are really nice to ride, i no the Sherco 4t is a bit of a handful & difficult to control, after having a few goes on my dad's 2010 Evo 300, the power in it is just right in my opinion & i think the 250 Evo 4t would be a bit to much on the soft side. best option is to see if you can get a test ride on an Evo 300 & 250 & see what you prefer, but in my opinion it would be wiser to go for the 300 Evo over the 250, the 300 isn't a handful to control unlike the Sherco, but the evo will sure go if you want it to. Good luck choosing one mate!
  12. Not in a trial, not trying to slate that the Montesa is a bad bike, just saying i prefer the Beta.
  13. I have rode both bikes before, & i think the Beta is the much better bike, it just feels a lot easier to ride than the mont does, & feels a lot lighter, i definatly prefer the evo 300 4t. it would be worth having a test ride on one to see what you think
  14. You will love the 290, they are a lovely bike to ride, to be honest there isn't that much difference in a 250 & 290, they are both good bikes, they both have the power there if needed.
  15. Hi, I have a 2010 290 Evo & i have to say it's amazing, as the 2009 evo was the first of the evo's, they had a few problems (nothing major), but now on the second year of the making the evo's they are sorted such as the carb is modified, new ignition settings, new radiator, suspension modified, frame/swingarm different etc..., but if you do deicde to go for an 09, make sure you swap the fenders over, because the 2010 colour scheme is amazing, you will love it. Have a think about it, see what you decide, if you have the extra cash to make up the price for a new one, it would be worth buying new. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/beta-evo-290-trials-...=item2c525f162a, nice example of an 09 there.
  16. John Lampkin Imports, Beta UK, give them a bell & they will be able to sort you out with one. http://www.betatrialuk.com/

    Evo 250 Or 290

Isn't it down to people's own choices of what cc bike they want? I agree with Pete_Scorpa3 about the 290's, i have one & they are a lovely bike to ride, not something that will rip your arms off.

    Evo 250 Or 290

Go for the 290 everytime, the power is there if needed, i have a 2010 290 & the power curve is really nice, & it doesn't rip your arms off either.
  19. Good tip: Get a good set off from the bottom slipping the clutch to start, 3rd or 4th gear flat out, keep your body very low (Nearly sat down), & positioned in the center of the bike, also try to keep the throttle at a constant speed all the way up if you shut off you will most likely lose it. Give it a go using that technique, see how you go on.
  20. The Rev 4 is a superb bike, my dad used to own a 2008 one & it was no trouble at all ever, never hesitated or spluttered, it was just a fantastic bike, you will definatly like the power curve in it, lovely & soft. if you buy one you will never look back.
  21. Cheers for that reply mate, 6 weeks is a long while, our new one came from italy & only took around 2 weeks.
  22. X-lite 100%, we had one on my dad's old beta Rev 4 which has been on for about 9/10 months & is still going very good, grips superbly especially on hillclimbs , in my opinion a lot better than the x11's, give one a go see what you think.
  23. Sounds exactly like ours was doing, only trouble was, got a replacement & it was exactly the same.
  24. They are sending the old one back to the factory to see what has gone wrong with it.
