  1. The kill switch hopefully will have killed the bike before the handlebar has had chance to dig into the ground, so the engine will be dead before the throttel is wedged open!

As soon as you let go of the throttel it will close, as the lanyard is pulled the engine dies and then when the bike falls to the floor it will not rev it's nads off.

  2. Have you repacked your silencer? You will probably find it is full oil from put-putting around, get a new packing kit from beta uk, job done and the bike will run and sound better!

  3. On the up? Did you see the scores? Bet not many riders enjoyed that yesterday.... No stop should be kept to pre 65/ twin shock classes and the likes of the ssdt/loch lomond/reeth/lakes etc where the sections allow for flowing style trials.... British champs riders will go clean all day at these kind of trials no problem the sections need to be more severe to push the boundaries. What the top riders in the country/world can make a 65kg motorbike do is awesome, why peg them back so that older guys and lesser riders can enter a trial and drop hundreds of marks? It won't attract any more to the sport, let's be serious the top riders will still be the top riders and everyone else will find it too hard. It's swings and roundabouts. An issue we will all have to agree to disagree on. Shame the FIM went ahead and made the changes. That FIM no stop video is cringe-worthy. Not impressive atall. It's not 1970 anymore, things move on.

Your rant is not in context with my post, it was made regarding the number entered and spectators that rushed from section to section to watch the event.

  4. We have had two beta 80's and thay were really good. As your daughter is 15 a good 125 will be fine and she will be able to ride it on the bottom end of the rev range Rather than having to use the top end on the 80. I can only comment on the beta as that all we have had but the rev 125 and the evo 125 are nice and soft until you get the revs up so would be fine for your daughter as see has some bike skills already.

As I said above we love the beta bikes but I am sure any of the brands would be good, the sherco may be a handful!

  5. You have had problems with your coolant impeller (as you mentioned in earlier posts) so you may have cooked the gasket first time out after your rebuild, may be if you ensure your coolant circulation is correct and you did not get the bike too hot! You may be lucky and a new gasket will sort it out!

    Good luck.

    PS was your fan working?

  6. Wire as per the diagram ensure you connect the black to earth.

You may need to remove the red and white connector plugs and clean the terminals with contact cleaner, the contacts are probably covered in green corrosion, if they are green then this could be your problem.
