  1. No worries, do you get parts from AB motorbikes, I am working in Wales this week may have to pop in and see Barry.
  2. X light are not much more expensive but the side walls cut easily and to be honest you will not see any benefit over the x11 tyre in the sections that you will be riding (not being derogatory just how I see it). At times it seems all about the money but you will get back the investment in how much the bike will feel planted and your riding will improve on new tyres if the tyres on your bike are as old as you say.
  3. The front could do with changing as well, do you find the front washes out all the time on cambers?
  4. There you go, you must change that rear tyre if it's the original, it will be so hard you will really struggle for grip. If you change the tyre it will feel like a different bike, honestly.
  5. At 5 foot 7 your in the range for standard bars, so play with bar position, watch other riders at a trial, infact observe a section and watch and learn body position good and bad, you will be surprised how much you will learn with repeated riders riding the section.
  6. As above but how tall are you, we have shortened bars for my boys when they were small! Be careful if you do cut your bars and try 5mm at a time as it does make a big difference and there is a trade off as you loose a bit of leverage on the bars.
  7. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b050xrqd#auto Check out 1hour 46mins in.
  8. Just listened on iplayer, thanks for sharing we need more of the same, big up to Jim Teague.
  9. Thanks for all the info. Portman I could do with a reason for riding like a wuss!
  10. After poor running I found the carb to be missing what I believe to have been a blanking cap, but can anyone confirm it is just a blanking cap or is it something more technical? With it missing I think it would of made the bike run lean due to the open end delivering unfiltered air directly into the slide area of the carb!
  11. As above, arrange to meet at local police station, it is difficult on both sides and gut feeling has to be followed along with the right questions being asked on both sides.
  12. You could try a slightly oversized star drive (torx drive) the plug is only aluminium so just tap the drive into the rounded socket and it will undo if your carefull.
  13. I have just checked this out on the Beta uk web site and can't find the link to frame number page, sorry if I have sent you on a wild goose chase.
  14. Beta uk list frame numbers for each year so if you know what year it is you could cross reference it against the web site.
  15. We have had good results with silkalean light gear oil!
  16. As above looks like the water pump gear drive pin, quite an easy fix if it is.
  17. If you have a spark then you need to take the plug out and turn the bike upside down and turn the engine over by hand to remove any water from the crank. Once the water stops coming out you must get the bike running and allow it to get hot (rad fan running) and keep it running to ensure the crank bearings are well lubed. You must do this ASAP as the main bearings will start to form rust on the metallic surfaces if left with water in the crank, and then you will need to replace the bearings.
  18. Don't worry about your riding when your in the section and just enjoy it, and when your in the section take your time do not feel you need to rush through the section. Have a good day.
  19. If Mike has breathed on your bike then you have got a bike that has been sorted to a very high standard.
  20. Thanks all, sorted ordered from BVM.

  22. Hi could anyone help on the the SKF fork seal part number for 2015 125 Pro. (Green seal) I have got the gas gas part number but was hoping to collect from my local bearing shop to speed things up.
  23. Have you tried Bob Wright http://www.bobwrightmotorcycles.co.uk He is listing kickstart shafts for a couple of bikes, worth giving him a call.
