I got mine from lewissport usa. I have put a inline fuelfilter on it. And a reed spacer so it fits really god. It starts in one or two kiks now, but if use the choke it dosen't start. Think i have a jetting problem, the sparkplug was grey white after my first test run on this spec: Pilot 45 Main 120 Needle clip in middle. Today i put a 48 pilot in and lifted the needle max. It seems to be running great on low rews, but the bike don't rew to the skys. so i think something is wrong on high rews. Anyway the sparkplug was black dry today. Do you think a 125 main will do the trick for me ????

I just bought myself a used gasgas 280- 2006. Does anyone know where to connect the cdi swith? I got all electronics in a plastic bag with the bike......

Just got my kehin pwk 28, and installed it on my gasgas 280 - 2006 today. The problem is that the bike wont start. What should i check?. To little fuel or to much ? Float level ?? The carb got two adjustment screws One big black with a spring, and one little gold. Witch one is for idling ?

Well i just sold my 280 Pro 03, that bike was really nice, The differance between this bikes can't be that big....or can it ??

My clutch is dragging a bit so I am going to strip it down and check the thickness of the plates. Is it anyone here that can explain how you strip it down....is it hard ?

hello !!! I'm about to put back my clutch cover on my bike, 280 - 03. And i found a washer on the floor.... i know that it belongs on the kick axel, but i don't know if it's inside the clutch cover or outside of the clutch cover behind the kickstart pedal base ? Does anyone know ?????

Having some problem with clutch drag on my gasgas 280 -03. And i need som help explaining how you bleed it, and what fluid you use in it ?

I'm about to change the fork oil for the first time, and got some questions There's a little screw in the bottom of the fork, is that for draining the oil ?? When the oil is drained, must i open the large nut at the top of the fork leg or what ??? The bike is a 280 - 2003 Best regards Christian

Hi I have a gasgas 280 -03 and have a question about the fan, i don't know if this is normal, but when i use my bike the fan starts really often....15 sec after it stops, it starts again....this is when i drive my bike really slowly, but do you think it's normal ?? The bike has been used for about 20 hours.... Is this normal? if not, what can be wrong ??

I'm about to setting the sag on my gasgas 280 -03...and have some questions..... My weight is 62kg Is that a good weight for the standard springs ? My front suspension works great and i have 1/6 sag on it... To get the rear sag i have to use alot of preload on the spring....i only have 1/2 inch left to the bottom of the threads on the shock..... I have a gasgas 280 - 03 and i have some problems to get a good idling... when the bike is chocked the idling is fine when i put the chocke down it sounds very strange like uneven idling.... i have tested to turn the large screw on the side of the carbourator....is that screw both for idling and petrol-air mixture??? Does that screw have any standard setting ?? When the chocke is down i think the throttle is to sensitive....it goes up in rpm when i bearly thouch the trottle???

I'm about to change my transmission oil....in the service manual it says: The oil level must be between the minimum and maximum indicators??? I can't see any indicators in the window??? I't also says that the system holds 550cc of oil.....should i just drain the oil and fill up 550cc of new oil ?

I have just purchased a gasgas 280 -03....and i have som questions 1.How often do you clean the airfilter ? 2.Is it importand that the bike is idling when you change gear??....can something break if you have a lot of rpm and you changing gear??? 3.How often do you change the gear oil ?? I have a 10/40 transmission oil at home....it will do the job...right ? 4. How often do you guys lubricate the bearings in the swingarm ? Best regards Christian (Sweden)
