In all honesty having ridden the series since around 2007 I have always felt that the series was ,and should remain the domain of the older pre 65 bike ,and us twin shockers have really been there by invite and to make the numbers up therefore making the event viable . I have had no problem with this and have enjoyed many fine events held in lovely parts of Britain . I know its putting the clock back but I think the day has come for the series to revert back to its roots and become a British bike only event , what bikes qualify for that I will leave to the experts . I have also noted that the main problem areas relate to the pre65 class and very little is actually mentioned about twinshock so maybe its best if we stay out of the way . I remain doubtful that many of the people who post on this forum still would not follow a revamped series !. Lets be clear , call a spade a spade , the Kia series has hit the spot with a lot of twin shockers , expertly coordinated by Gerry Minshall and team ,good venues , well organised etc etc I have only ridden a couple since their conception but the numbers speak for themselves . I have concentrated on the Sammy series this year ,last round cancelled at short notice ,the one before that poorly supported this year . I think my mind is made up now as to what series I will follow next year !.

Hi Dave, yes I personally sent off my questionnaire for which I received no response either. I hope my comments have been noted . I did not get involved with the pre 65 side of things as it does not concern me and is best left for those that do . My feeling is that the proposals are obviously written in good faith but look complicated to me and the reasons for which this series has taken a nose dive of late are more than just eligibility issues .

Please could those interested in this series read the proposals outlined in the attachment below and provide feedback via this forum. Please note - I can give no explanation to any issues that may arise as I am posting this on behalf of others and the object of this exercise is to try and gather as much useful information as possible . Just to make it known that the club will be running an additional non championship class for those eligible for classes 3 to 6 who want to ride route 3 , (easy) , also there will be a club award for the best over 50 on this route who rides a pre unit or twin . the club is making an effort to encourage all who wish to have a gentle day out on a bike in a lovely part of Devon .

Hi , Have ridden my cub for first time today and loved it APART from brake being on LH SIDE . Apart from 'getting used to it " I would prefer to convert to RH side , Has anyone here any tips or info etc on how to achieve please ? . Thanks.

Probably not , expense involved will be excessive . My view is that it will probably be a round that will be supported only by the locals . Anyone know If Perce Simon will run or is it too late now as dates are out and finalised ?.

Am I also correct in saying the over 50 class in the Normandale series now has to ride 50/50 course ,i.e. half main route ,half eased route ? . fine but wonder what the thinking was on this ? probably be a lot of old gits struggling now (including me ! ).

Face book , a rider does a very good job of posting regional dates and also the national list for next year that I refer to.

I see from provisional 2016 acu fixture list that all the Normandale rounds are in place but there seems only 1 round for the new aircooled series ? , I believe that there is no longer a pre 65 / twinshock class for the Normandale rounds so if this is the case whats gone wrong ? or am I wrong ? . Can anybody enlighten me ? .Thanks .

Hi , starting my tlm50 ( 65cc upgrade) again and would like to know who is the best stockist for spares , I am aware that there are bits and pieces on ebay but need gaskets and other items . Thanks and hope somebody can help with this question or any other tlm 50 info .

Mine did this and it turned out to be the throttle body knackered .

yet again someone with unrealistic ideas about what the organisers should be doing for THEM ,scrubbing sections !!!! ,off road is getting where people like this think they are paying guests just like they are at Eurodisney .

not wishing to bang on but does this club actually send out results ,because still none yet in the SAE that was put in with my entry ,(as was last year and they also never came ) .Not being funny but results being issued within a reasonable time scale is not a lot to ask for .However i am always grateful for the efforts put in by the organisers to stage these events ,I just wish the last little bit could be done ! .
