-
hi, as a twinshock rider and talking to someone local to me who rode the event within the last year or so it seems the top route is not out of the question, have you any idea what to expect ??? regards.
-
thanks, thats the date that I expected, but wanted to be sure before things were booked etc.thanks again
-
Hi, any news yet on the date of this years event ? Xavier are you there ? regards .

Hi , get the expert versions, I have fitted them to my 200 which has 300 forks and it transforms them. Dont forget the HFS set up still relies on the original Fantic damping which unless you like a pogo stick needs quite heavy oil to slow them down a bit. What is good about the HFS set up is that you can adjust the forks to how you like them ,whereas standard Fantic internals give little adjustment apart from spacer length changes.Buy them spend a bit of time understanding them and you should not regret it.

not being funny but the best place for the betors is the skip, tried them and then changed to falcon and so much better. The falcons follow the ground much better whereas the betors felt stiff and woody. Only what I think though !!!!!!. Good luck.

Thanks grib for taking the time to help me , that set up is just what I want . So as far as you know those fixings come with the brackets?
-
Thanks for that Grib ,just what I was looking for,I have looked on line and found some so do you mean that they come with some sort of fixings that allow them to be removed when not carrying bikes in the van? thanks again for your response.
-
Hi, have just got myself a new van and really want to get organized with regards to how to strap or secure my bike in it. I typically carry one bike but on occasions could be three. Are there any racks available? is there any thing that could be simply made up? I am trying to avoid the straps everywhere sort of lash up that usually ends up happening! and would be grateful of any tips or suggestions that could steer me in the right direction. Many Thanks.

Hi, I have a spare 200 exhaust that would benefit from a good clean out, what is the best method of doing this , does it need splitting apart and re welding? or is there some special substance that can be used, back in the fsie days we used caustic soda from the chemist but not sure if this actualy did any thing ! ! any thoughts on this would be of help ,thanks.

There are many factors that must be right in order to make the engine run sweet, firstly I personally always start with a new carb either delorto or oko ( effects from oko are superb} . I have learnt through experience that carrying out a service on what may be an old carb is a waste of money. Secondly, as already said ,.the ignition must be good and also the engine must be tip top ,ie good crank seals, good compression. When all of this is satisfied also make sure the exaust is clean along with the silencer too.Be prepared to spend a bit of cash and you will get a great running bike.
