  1. Got it back today, after advertising for months on Gumtree (using picture from Pedronicman, thanks)

    I would also really like to thank the Police - unfortunatly, as they didnt actually do sod all, and refused to accompany me this morning, they have sunk to an all time low.

  2. Nah it's his dad.... :blink:

    B40RT continually call's me by my old man's name..I'm used to it...no shot of Scottish energy drink for him on Friday....just to keep the cold and rain out.

    Start worring when I call you Donna.

  3. How can a cheque bounce months later if matey has the cash in his hand, I can't see it. If you send pics of frame no and v5 block part of the number(same part on both pics of course)

    Brother-in-law works in fraud with major bank. If cheque proves to have been "washed" or many other methods of fraud, your account could still be severely dented.

  4. That is a nice and original restoration No Jive. It is very nice to see original bikes racing classic trials. Congratulations.

    Wifes being impressed about their own husbands restoring bikes is just the first step of a long staircase. With the time: "wifes hate bikes". This is the only truth.

    At last it will cost you a lot of money in romantic dinners, operas, romantic comedy movies, visits to your in-law family and all this sort of boaring things that wifes enjoy to do if you want them to live a live in peace with your classic bikes (our real and true loves).

    Mine looked dissapointed when I told her she should use Castrol TTS better than the perfume she normally uses.

    :thumbup:

  5. I read somewhere ,don't know if it was Loctite monthly or LoctiteWorld :thumbup: ;

    That if you're using liquid threadlock ,loctite style, then you drop the torque by 18% !

    I've got some copies of sheep dentistry you might be interested in !
