I had an AXA savings plan. It was losing money like no tomorrow, had to weigh it in early lost over a grand. They are shysters. As we found out recently a lot in their game are. I would get better financial advice from my dog.
Probably to late, but you can generally get more for your plan by selling it on to a third party.
I always ran my rotax at 32 : 1 conventional 2 stroke oil. Many will recommend synthetic, but for a younger rider the advantages are debatable. Main bearings etc, in my experience last a lot longer.
When I post, I try and make an effort in relation to grammar, but it's not a strong point of mine. I do think spelling is overrated though. There are so many words in the English language that are spelt in a stupid way. Pneumatic for example, why the hell does that word start with a P
Don't start with the spelling. Quay, Pneumonia, Xispa ........
wondering if its just me or anyone else has this problem, seems like every time i drag the bike out of the garage to do the routine maintenance i have been putting off for weeks the car pulls up and they all jump out bible in hand bull**** ready. always with young kids in tow so you cant tell them where to go. as not to be offensive in front of children i stood there for twenty Min's listening to s***e i have no real interest in.
so if anyone reads this who does door to door bible bashing quick tip next time you see a bloke putting a air filter back into a gas gas ( square peg, round hole ) DON'T start banging on about the afterlife or you may just end up getting there sooner than you thought.
Wasnt a Sherco, but found the floats / needle would stick when left of several days. Made a point of putting on the petrol before I got changed and tapping the float bowl.
I've a vw caddy sdi the gasser fits in on the diagonal with the bulkhead fitted and there's still space for all the gear plus it goes well for a donkey, i'd plump for an L200 or navara etc rather than a van
I'm told L200 have engine problems at approx 30K miles.
I have been using a 50:1 mixture of full synthetic oil (Mobil 2T) in my Suzuki RL250 for a couple of years without any problems. Back in the old days when people just used 30 weight motor oil we would mix at 20:1 - but these old oils were not as good as the modern synthetic oils and needed to be mixed that way to properly lubricate.
The old oils seemed to stick to the bearings for longer, even leaving for months at a time seemed to cause no problems.
