I thought I was the only one riding a 350 Bantam !

Is this whole topic not just in parallel to what is happening in society in general ? Instant gratification, constantly wanting more, bigger, shinier. Get it on credit, worry about paying for it tomorrow. If it breaks, throw it away and buy a new one.
Pre-65, in my opinion, should be an antidote to all the above.
By the way I'm not 85, and didn't fight in the war etc.
And I dont like tubless tyres either, so there.
Note to self - new years resolution - stop being grumpy.

De cent is de currency of de canadian nation, is'nt it ?
-
Yeah - but we are members of the EU, which means we follow every law they introduce, except when it comes to duty on tobacco and booze. Scotch whiskey is cheaper in France than the UK. I kid you not.

As above, set points, them timing. Check with a strobe.

When rotax motors arn't used for a while the points can stick, quick spray will usually fix. If the cam on the flywheel has surface rust this will wear the heel of the points very quickly, worth a check. I have had no real problems with points or condensors over the years, and wouldnt go to the time or expense of electronic ignition. I'm pretty sure I got my last points from a chain saw supplier.

If you serch there is a whole discussion on this, but basically disconnect or take the chance of frying !

Good luck for the SSDT.
The only good thing about paying your TAX is the very nice thank you letter you get from Alister Darling saying " thanks for your hard earned dosh, you know I'm going to spend it wisely........"

On christmas eve I got my january tax demand, merry f*c*en christmas from the chancellor.
Today I got my entry for the pre 65, there is a god after all.

I have suffered T E / R T S in both arms for years. Have been taking cod liver oil which seems to help. Dont know if its all in the heed. (Couldnt spell sicosematic)

I should have said that you might be better taking the plug out to stop it fouling.
-
Does your bike have a large capacitor/condensor ? I found (before changing to Boyer) that if you took the plug cap off and kicked it over several times, then replaced the cap it would start no problem. This was not a Bantam incidentally.

Are any of the softer alloy tanks going to be affected by Ethanol etc?

I believe the reason Xispa is having a hard time on this site is because it appears to be a copy, this is unfair on the original company who put their time , effort and money into development.

Practice a section in whatever gear you decide is right, once you can clean it try again in another gear. Good practice as you are always going to come across a section where there is no perfect gear.

See original subject, before it took a tangent.
