  3. All you need to do is find a pre 2000 world trials review video and you will see that bikes of this age can be hopped and skipped around like the bikes of today.
  4. Thought in the UK it was 17yrs old before you could ride a 125? 50cc whilst your 16? Does the IOM differ?
  5. Totally agree it made it quite unfair that a rider could dominate in the sections and then have a chance of going out over a race!
  6. Yes you can fit 2 trials bikes in a combo. It was a few years ago when my mate had one but we fit 2 gasgas pro's in without removing wheels. both go in corner to corner top to tail if yo get me.

  9. With so many riders capable of winning a world round this year i think consistancy could be the Key factor for Doug.
  10. Paul Dixon who used to mind for dougie alot of years back was rumered to be on Lia Sanz works 315 from 2004. Maybe not quite as potent as dougs or fuji's but its maybe as close as you'l get.........

  12. it was no problem guys! had to shoot off straight after trial on a works jolly to bolton so had no internet, just got back now. is there a forum discusing the trial?thought if someone could tell me save me lookin!

  14. i agree. dougie and his team were awsome to watch on their 2nd lap! hes like a machine thats been programmed to do a job!
  15. when taking off or puttin on a tube tyre remember 'start and finish at the valve'(thats start taking it off from the valve, and finish putting it on at the valve)

  17. Jordi Pasqet (not sure about spelling there) number 10 he was, no minder all day, am i right? brave guy and possibly backs up Sam about it not being too dangerous.
  18. we were at the bar, well just outside, til quarter to 12 ish. had an early set off @ 4 so needed early night. as we left the were some shadey charactors still there!
  19. 3rd gear and good back brake is required (so you might need to get rid of your beta! )

  22. after having a 96 beta for 3 yrs i switched to a 2000 txt 249 in 2002. I had the pleasure for the next two and a bit years of owning a very competitive and very reliable trials bike. 3 lakes 2 days, 2 manx, 3 scotts all finished, 2 france 4 days, never missed a beat in any, and club trials most wkends!this was not just on easy course either!the bike is capable of any expert course.
