YES IT IS A PAIN TO WRITE MORE OR LESS THE SAME RIDERS NAMES AFTER EACH EVENT, BUT SEEN AS EACH RIDER HAS DIFFERENT NUMBER EVRY EVENT + MY LIMITED KNOLEDGE OF EXCEL I CANT SEE ANYWAY OF GETTING ROUND THE PROBLEM OF MATCHING RIDER AND THIER NUMBER AT EACH EVENT.......

I start from scratch with every set of results that i produce, with only 50-80 regular entry i dont find it takes too long. i first of all write the list of names, their riding number and class then in the next colllum a write a,b, or c. a=hard course, b= mixture h&e and c=easy course.once this is complte, usually takes me about 15-20 mins i input each section total score section at a time. once all 12 sections are input (this takes 10mins max) a total collum is produced at the end. the whole data is then sorted by a,b or c followed by the total collum and class if desired. add a header and its job done, well apart from getting them on net, but thats only a 2 min job. i can have a trial of say 70 entries wrapped up in under an hour easy. its the bl**dy envelopin and photo copy that takes the time!!!!

give the item nu,mber of it on ebay or copy and paste the site address and someone will tell you the age within minutes with no messing about.

ask one or trials buddys to see if it possible to swap carbs and then throttle cable/twist grip of his machine. you'l soon see then if it is either of these causing the problem! very cheap and easy process of elimination....

my mate had a vauxhall corsa combi and we got both our bikes in no problem. a gas pro and a old txt. both go in diagonal.

JACK WAS AN ABSOLUTE LEGEND AT THE TELFORD BIKE SHOW IN THE LIVE ARENA, COULDN'T THINK OF ANYONE THAT COULD OF MADE A BETTER JOB, AS YOU HAVE BEEN SAYING HE IS SO ENTHUSIASTIC AND SUCH A LAUGH WHEN HE TALKS ****! I REMEMBER HIM ONCE SAYIN "ON HIS RIGHT FOOT IS THE GEARS AND UNDER HIS LEFT IS THE BRAKE" ABSOLUTE CLASS.

Where and when is the Aveyron 3 Day at? You are the first to mention it. We are now thinking of riding in the 3day on easter weekend (not the santiago as it is possibly tooo far for a 3day ) or do you think otherwise? Does anyone know any details on what you need, do you really need ACu permit to ride etc? do they check?

so it is possible to do it fairly easy with no driver to drive your van each day? i guess the bikes stay at the finish of each day?

i already do the 4 day trial in the middle of france, 4 jours de la cruise. do any of you know any details on any of the others as the 4 day i have mentioned is so good i want to do more than 1 a year!! any dates, venues and personal experience would be great.
