  1. I see they were real careful when tieing them down but I am certain the rightful owners will be very pleased to have them back regardless how they were tied down.
  2. HAHAHAHAHA depends if you wear an evening dress at the same time. A Kilt does not count as a dress. (don't need the Scotts mad at me)
  3. Did you have to loosen the pickup to "push" it or did you just push it and it moved? If it is loose maybe it starts ok and then vibrates and moves to new position causing bike to stall???
  4. I ride in Alpinestars, very comfy and have lasted me a couple years so far. I ride about 14 events a year and as many practice sessions as the wifey will allow.
  5. They really lift and showcase the bum don't they If you ride in 6 inch stilleto heels are you an expert then??
  6. Looks really muddy and slippy fun. That guy is doing a great job finding traction in that mud

If I remember correctly a Montesa 4RT was used for the "Splatter" in the movie Quantum of Solice. Shortly after the splatter there is a "boat jump" where he lands on a boat. I think that is where he is saying they used the CRF450.
  8. That just sounds dirty.................... More details please
  9. I heard he is very hard to catch.
  10. this season at an event we had 2 riders in Sportsman class. The guy in second proudly proclaimed "I got second place" When asked about the other rider the guy in second said "He did not do so good, he came in next to last" A good time is what it is all about............
  11. OH You are falling for the classic misdirection of the course maker........ The Big Flat Sheet of Plywood - will be covered in greasy slime and have zero traction, you will put your foot down all day just trying to turn off the darn thing. The Muddy Puddle - will be 4 feet deep.... The Slight Incline - will be dry loose sand, your rear tire will just dig a hole. Actually I have had events where I looked at a section and the spot I thought was going to be easiest I took points all day in that spot. Drives me completely mental....but in a good way. od10 and nedrapier WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WEIRD WORLD OF TRIALS we are happy to have you and please enjoy yourselves.
  12. I really need to be a billionaire............................. So I could hop in my private jet and be there to watch you. Have a good time, don't worry about points....(you will get a few ) Just have fun.

  14. My recently sold 2000 Sherco 2.9 had a VERY light clutch pull. especially compared to the Honda TLR200 Reflex that I rode getting back into trials. And what surprises me is people actually do modifications to make the clutch even easier to pull.
  15. They are trials riders, they will find traction whether it is with the bike or the transport vehicle Good luck to all and a safe trip
  16. I thought that was just standard practice in every garage. Or maybe a couple to make it go smoother. but if there are too many you may forget about fixing the bike and start But I do agree with Copemech that it is good that chunk did not go in the gears.
  17. I have seen that sight before with my bike. Suggestions for re-installation......... Use as many swear words as possible??
  18. Scratches add character and proves that you ride the bike. It is not just a truck ornament. sounds like as good of an excuse as any to be lazy and not paint it.
  19. Don't forget he is also full of it!!!
  20. You sure?? Gotta be careful when going out these days. Could look like a hen, scratch like a hen, peck like a hen and still use the urinal!! :rotfl: Bike is looking good, hope you have many many hours of fun on it. Try attending the Fun in The Sun 2 day in 2013, March, April, May sometime in there. I went for the Saturday and had a blast. http://www.floridatrials.net/
  21. Bike looks pretty good but I am a bit disturbed about the cock that is getting mighty friendly with it in the second photo.
  22. Michigan Ontario Trials Association http://motatrials.com/ We have a "For Sale" section in the forums. We have an event Oct. 13-14 in Vermontville. There will be many bikes there and many people willing to chat and probably let you take them for a spin. Sadly this is the last event for the season. http://www.rypusa.com/ Click "Used Bikes" http://www.Gas Gas.com/index.shtml Click "For Sale" http://tryalsshop.com/ Click "Pre-Owned Bikes" http://www.lewisportusa.com/ Click oh heck you get the idea I am currently Sherco mounted but am looking to go Gas Gas. All the bikes are good but have their own quirks. I have had good results getting parts for my Sherco and have heard parts are easily available for Gas Gas. I suggest getting to an event and riding as many different bikes as you can get on. We have a member of MOTA that is a Gas Gas dealer and a member that is a Beta / Sherco dealer.
  23. I am at this moment wearing this T-Shirt. http://www.sleevecandy.com/protect-your-nuts-squirrel.html
