  1. Try this:

43 year old nutcase rides a 300lb dual sport bike from Rancho Cucamonga to Las Vegas via Death Valley on Friday then enters the same bike in EX on Saturday. The LA-Barstow-Vegas route is typically 450 miles so I'm going to have to chisel it down quite a bit to make it in one day.

Do I hear a bet brewing from cityboy craig???? B)

Good Luck, I sincerely hope you pull it off!!

Let us know how it goes.

  2. The impeller is very tight fitting onto the shaft. All steel construction with no keyed fitting on the shaft or in the impeller.. The seal and bearings then sit side by side in the clutch case housing. A thrust washer is in place also.

I wasn't sure if all the dimensions were the same and I could "upgrade" to the newer design.

Splatshop are showing a clutch case casket for the a 50cc bike only on a 2000 modle. Are they the same sizing?

    Again, thanks for any help.

    Chris

    Try this one

  3. OK, Time to brag; that back flip? I've done that before..only I wasn't on the bike when it landed..neither was the rear mud-guard..and I needed new levers and bars as well. :dunce::(

    UUUMMMM HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :rotfl:

But now you know you can do it, just got to hold on the bike next time and all will be fine.

  4. :icon_salut: .....and alongside that video is this one.......

    ....mental :banana2:

And all those Freestyle guys use all kinds of speed.............we have TORQUE!! LOL They are all insane, Top level trials and Freestyle MotoX. All mental

  5. I keep watching it trying to figure something out.

The Minder on the clutch side of the bike, did he actually grab the fork tube or is his hand just "hovering" at the fork tube just in case he is needed to grab it. The video is done at a distance that make it hard to see. From the reaction of the crowd I would say his hand is just hovering and Bou did the step clean.

  6. Good video, I generally watch them with the sound off anyways. So I did not hear the music, but hey it's your video use the music you like.

I also wear shorts to ride trials, (very comfy) and a knee brace, and ankle braces............so many other protections I don't need the lower half of my pants. :D

  7. With my quick scan of the picture it looks like the area for the actual oil seal is ok, so the that seal should be fine, you should be able to get the area for the dust seal close enough to round for it if you take your time.

Mine was dented in the same place, I tapped the dent out with a hammer and something round. There is a small crack in mine and I am using the same dust seal and have had no problems with it. (but I am a cheap b*****d also)

  8. Plus, I have barely even ridden it and would look like a fool, haha!!! :banana2:

Many of us ride regularly and still look like fools. :banana2: So please don't let that stop you from riding our events in the future when the bike is ready. You can always just come out and spectate an event and see what we are all about. We have 3 more events this season, September 11, September 25 and October 2. Info at MOTA

  9. Zach, hope you can give your bike a try a the upcoming Great Lakes event, Sept. 18th in Metamora, MI. Maybe you already have MOTA ties, but if not, all the information for the event is at www.motatrials.com.

    Zach,

Welcome to the weird wonderful world of trials.

Don't forget must have AMA membership to compete, If you do not have a membership we have the forms necessary to sign up for it the day of the event.

  10. I been voting for the boys..........used my phone and Email and took over the wife's and kid's phones and Emails so we can vote for the Smage Bros. I think if the camera work would have been done properly they would get more votes. Hard to grab America at home when the camera doesn't show the best parts.

    Keep up the good work.

So fire may be inevitable............does this mean you might use my fart joke??? :chairfall:

The idea of Debbie doing the headstand and the boys jumping over is a good one.

They have gone up huge steps..........how tall of a step can they come down from?

Elevated "tight rope" type thing only a little bit wider than the rear tire?

  11. I went over an obstacle on my Sherco and my foot came off the peg, when my foot returned to the peg I discovered I had actually RAMMED my foot onto the shift lever. Let's just say a shift lever does not enjoy being used as a foot peg..........and lets you know that by breaking internally and costing much $$$$$$$

  12. I voted for Smage Bros. as many times as I was allowed (and used the kids' phones and the wife's phone) I really like what they did. But whoever the numpty was running the cameras should be slapped. Didn't they realize that the HUGE splatter needed to be filmed from the side so the people at home could really appreciate it.
