    Phil and Pat?

I been voting for the boys..........used my phone and Email and took over the wife's and kid's phones and Emails so we can vote for the Smage Bros. I think if the camera work would have been done properly they would get more votes. Hard to grab America at home when the camera doesn't show the best parts. Keep up the good work. So fire may be inevitable............does this mean you might use my fart joke??? The idea of Debbie doing the headstand and the boys jumping over is a good one. They have gone up huge steps..........how tall of a step can they come down from? Elevated "tight rope" type thing only a little bit wider than the rear tire?
  3. I went over an obstacle on my Sherco and my foot came off the peg, when my foot returned to the peg I discovered I had actually RAMMED my foot onto the shift lever. Let's just say a shift lever does not enjoy being used as a foot peg..........and lets you know that by breaking internally and costing much $$$$$$$

    Phil and Pat?

I voted for Smage Bros. as many times as I was allowed (and used the kids' phones and the wife's phone) I really like what they did. But whoever the numpty was running the cameras should be slapped. Didn't they realize that the HUGE splatter needed to be filmed from the side so the people at home could really appreciate it.
  5. OH I think the gap in skills will be VERY obvious as the Emergency crew scrapes what is left of myself off the wall and track after my spectacular crash.
  6. I never said I could get those old bikes to do that stuff..............just that someone could. But hey Ishy, I could store some of those old bikes for you. The only fee I would charge is that I can ride them if I want to...........
  7. To answer the question, Yes older bikes are heavier than modern ones. But of course with proper suspension set-up and technique one can get the older bikes to do many of the things that modern machines can do.
  8. At least he can still "get into her pants".
  9. My technique for starting a flooded bike. NO choke. Hold throttle WIDE open and kick. should only take a few kicks, less than 10, but usually like 3 or 4.
  10. All depends on whether you are doing trail rides, road rides or just riding sections. I did notice considerably higher fuel consumption once I got new piston, rings and barrel. Now it's not blowing past the rings and "recycling" the fuel. Generally when I go practice (section riding) I can run for a couple hours starting with a full tank.
  11. I need a scientific explanation for my wife as to why in the balance of things she is supposed to bring me a sammich.

    Geritol

That does sound like a fun and interesting way to score an event, but at 38 yrs I don't think of myself as Geritol age yet, but my teenagers think I am old as dirt. I guess it is all a matter of perspective.
  13. Sounds like you have the same type of friends I do. I go riding with Biffsgasgas and he gives me some of the same encouragement. I REALLY REALLY enjoy when I go riding with him. Not only does he give me that extra "push" to try something he is also willing to catch my bike for me when it goes bad. He will also video it all and laugh his head off at me as well. Great riding partner, everybody should ride with somebody like that.
  14. Hey I resemble that remark from time to time.
  15. After looking again, there is no price in his posting on TC, after clicking the link there is a price in the description on the right of the pictures..........Now HAM2 did you really think I was going to actually read something when there were pictures I could look at.........oooh look a shiny object. Actually I am surprised this thread is still here. :bouncy:
  16. Yes that is a very nice 2010 290. I don't see a price so I assume he is showing off his pride and joy for the world to see. We also have the TC garage to show off if you so desire to use it.
  17. Of course, radiation kills cancer.
  18. big thing for me is consistency with all the riders. "No Favorites"
  19. Maybe not, but it sure helps when trying to kiss the "Website King's "
  20. Hey now, we have our best people working...............Oh sod it all, You have a very good point there. But I must amend your statement a little bit. It was not the Americans that thought up the law or think that borrowing makes debt go away, it is our idiotic lawmakers (that unfortunately we elected) that are thinking all this crap up. Even so, I do love my county!! Not necessarily all the people in it though. OK rant over.
  21. Hardest part was getting the end of that #$%^&*ing spring in the hole. The rest was pretty easy, but I gotta say what Copemech says makes sense also. This winter I may need to pop off my clutch cover and investigate my buzz as well.
  22. The first thing that comes to mind for me is the kickstart return spring is "tired" and not returning the kickstart shaft all the way up and that is causing the gear to stay engaged a bit and making the noise when running. Not exactly sure what is making the clunk sound when you shut the bike off. I broke the return spring a while back and have fitted a new one, everything has been fine for a few months of riding but recently there is a "buzz" while running that goes away if I push the kickstart forward just a little bit. Maybe a bearing going bad on the shaft?

    2003 Sherco 2.5

I agree that there are some genuine sellers that only had a bike for a short time, but remember I said I am a pessimistic sort and have to wonder if the seller is genuine or if there is big problem with the bike. One just needs to be careful is basically what I was saying.
  24. you could always send them my way and I will be sure to ride them often...............I mean look after them nicely
