The first thing that comes to mind for me is the kickstart return spring is "tired" and not returning the kickstart shaft all the way up and that is causing the gear to stay engaged a bit and making the noise when running. Not exactly sure what is making the clunk sound when you shut the bike off.
I broke the return spring a while back and have fitted a new one, everything has been fine for a few months of riding but recently there is a "buzz" while running that goes away if I push the kickstart forward just a little bit.
Maybe a bearing going bad on the shaft?

I agree that there are some genuine sellers that only had a bike for a short time, but remember I said I am a pessimistic sort and have to wonder if the seller is genuine or if there is big problem with the bike. One just needs to be careful is basically what I was saying.
-
you could always send them my way and I will be sure to ride them often...............I mean look after them nicely
-
you don't like fart jokes????
It is difficult to win over the masses with only a couple minutes available to "awe" them.
I like the idea of adding ladies to the show, vertical sewer pipes, ramp to ramp thing and fire all sound good to me.
Maybe have Smalls come out on one of the bikes and be chased down by the boys and told "no, no, no" and that he has to "sit there on the bench for a bit" (All in exaggerated hand and body motions) Right after he sits and starts "pouting", Pat flies over his head doing HUGE splatter onto a platform.
More rear wheel hopping.

That's what it registered before the ambulance was called.

AAAHHH but it's a dry heat!!

My personal opinion is to shy away from anything (car, bike, camper, etc...) that somebody is selling after buying it used and only having it a couple months. The paranoid part of me tends to think something is really wrong with it if they want to get rid of it that soon after purchase. Or it is a "flip" and trying to make a quick profit.
But I am a pessimistic sort anyways. Seems a bit odd that the seller has not ridden it since purchase.............
-
FIRE!! everywhere, a fire pit, vertical flame, flash pots!!!!
8ft Splatter over Smalls, while Smalls bends over to pick up something and Smalls releases methane from his exhaust into a vertical flame causing a fire ball that the guys go over during the splatter.
AH HAHAHA juvenile fart joke!!!

Kermit was a Magistrate??

My first lap is always the worst because of the "first loop jitters", and the last loop sucks because by then I am tired.
When reading this next statement remember 2 things 1. out clubs use ribbon/tape for marking and 2. I am old enough to remember when video recorders used VHS tapes.
I ride AWESOME!!...........until there is tape involved.
Yep it's a common problem, probably due to nerves and a desire to do really well in front of others.

THEY MADE IT TO THE SEMI-FINALS!!!
While it is disappointing that the sport of Observed Trials or MotoTrials (whatever it is called now) is not mentioned, they are trying to win a contest. Would mentioning Trials actually help them win or just confuse people? You have to admit that all trials shows have really nothing to do with the sport of trials and just showcases the skills and stunts that can be done on a trials bike. Similar to what the FMX shows are like for Motocross and Enduro, maybe we need a sub-genre called Freestyle Trials???
Something Howie told two other acts comes to mind, that they are in basically a popularity contest. The Smage Bros. are trying to win a contest and need to appeal to a very broad audience.

You may want to check out Michigan Ontario Trials Association aka MOTA We have a great series of 14 events, I know some of them require quite a bit of travel for our Canadian friends.
motatrials.com
The Windsor Motorcycle Club of MOTA is trying out a new property this year in Wardsville, Ontario August 28th. Which should be closer for Ontario riders to get to than the other property near the bridge and we may get higher participation at the WMCC event this time around. These guys and gals really do put alot of work and effort into their events and I can't wait to see what they do at the new property. WMCC event Aug. 28th
This information does not immediately help nickday1 but may give him something to look forward to, and maybe Borus and Canada315 could stop by and bring some friends Aug. 28th.

I cover both the front brake and the clutch. Sometimes on big steps I will take my finger off the front brake to really get a "fistfull" of throttle, but I am trying to do big steps while covering the brake.

Quite possibly posted before but I am too lazy to look:
Boy catches mom riding dad. Mom says she's trying to flatten dads
belly. Boy says it's no use, the babysitter gets on her knees and
blows it back up again!
Q. If your wife is yelling at the front door and your dog is barking
at the back door, Whom do you let in?
A. The dog. Why? Because once inside, the dog stops barking.

I keep looking for the refund check, I was told "it is in the post" but I can't find the right post!

At first I thought maybe they saw the "Kenny" thread and was offended.
-
Well done gentlemen, I enjoyed the show. It is tough to do that type of show in just 90 seconds. Should be better with bigger stage and more time.
-
I volunteer to research the suitability of the establishments to provide the aforementioned smile.

Andy,
Well done getting the Forums back up and running so quickly, even with being in the middle of travel.
Twas a bit of a surprise when I saw the "replacement" front page!

As his buddy calls and explains to his wife "Honest Darling I have only had one glass of beer all night......" at this point he turns to his buddy and says "they just keep refilling the same glass over and over. HAHA"
