    UTE Cup

First I will preface my statement with this one: I am not totally familiar with the exact situation. Trials is about the ability to control a motorcycle, not how long you have existed on this planet. So any tie breaker should be based on ability to control the motorcycle. I.E. section ride off, Wheelie contest, bunny hops, balance contest, being able to urinate into a gas can 5 feet away while doing a nose wheelie. etc. etc.
  2. I have my killswitch mounted in exactly the same place for just that reason. Don't forget about bar ends being buried in mud.

  5. we could use it to tune the ignition curve.
  6. If I remember correctly It was a "Cold Start Kit" For the 1986 and 1987 TLR200 Reflex that was imported to the USA that was a "Dual Sport" model of the TLR 200. It was supposed to make it less cranky to start.

    Oh - My - God

I want to see how they climb down, As mad as this next statement may sound think about it, Climbing up is the easy part. On the way down it is harder at those "Transition points" from ladder to ladder and platform to ladder. Truth be told I was nervous sitting in my little chair watching it, ain't no way in hell my fat ass is climbing that.

Good job ladies. Thank you for represented the U.S. and our Ladies of Trials. Also thanks to the Gents for Representing The U.S.

That would make it very tough to compete against the other teams that have 4 members. How many ladies did we have this year? Wasn't there a couple years we only had 2 competing? That must have been a huge amount of pressure on them then.

I was in no way trying to infer that our team was not talented enough to compete or that the class they are competing in is easy. Was merely curious as to why they changed classes. I was very pleased to see that our team was in the top class last year and I thought they did well, so was just curious why they changed. As for the ladies they can ride quite well in their own right. I have no problem admitting that they all can ride better than I.

Why did the US drop down to the lower class? Was our performance that far off from the others last year? Did we get bumped down or was it voluntary?
  15. He made it to the top ten Unfortunately he did not make it any farther in the competition, but I think he had a good run though.

    Natc Meeting

I just need time to attend the nationals and the money necessary to enter, travel, etc...... Anybody want to sponsor a late 30's balding, fat, mediocre trials rider?? I am at least good for comic relief.
  17. Is that why Sherco went to the tube frame?????
  18. I have used Kreem Kit with great success on steel tanks. Does Kreem Kit work with fiberglass?? I am unsure.
  19. Sounds like a good start for some trials riding fun. Like Copey says Practice, Practice, Practice. but on the bright side Trials Practice is also FUN!!!!!
  20. If I remember correctly for the head light to function properly it needs a good battery. Also I do know that the blinkers act really odd with a bad battery hooked up. When I had mine street legal top speed was 50 mph unless I was going down hill with the wind pushing me then I think I got up to 52mph Also if you will be practicing trials with it you may want a proper skid plate instead of that piece of tin that comes stock. I am planning on getting the one from B&J for mine.
