I do notice a difference between a new tire and my usual tires (Front and Rear) but unfortunately the new tire does not actually change how well I ride........................................
I got me beer and am waiting to watch my balls drop in New York!
And here was me thinking you were older than that rotfl.gif
Nevermind that Tony, the fact that Copey's in Texas and his balls are in New York is mildly disturbing.
Well, Copey is from Texas and EVERYTHING is BIGGER in Texas, and that sky scraper in New York is the only place he could find that would store them...........His wife's purse was just too small.
I generally run Dunlops, and get 2 years out of a rear and god only knows how many years out of a front.
This is not because I don't ride very often, it's just that I am very cheap and run my rear one direction the first year and then flip it for the second year. (I do notice a bit of loss of traction toward the end of the season though.)
Stall with both feet up and restart is ok. (basically balanced on tires and nothing else, is very hard to do and very few will be able to do it so many take 5's)
Stall and foot touches ground = 5
Stall with support =5
But I am not so adamant that if the rule was basically stall = 5 I can live with that. Most often I take a 5 if I stall anyways.
Also,
Stop and balance = no penalty
Stop and foot = 5 (you are now just as effective as a kickstand and a kickstand does not require you to be in control)
I agree with Ishy that the rules are being made lenient so that riders can make more mistakes and not incur a 5, because a 5 is really hard on the ego. Well get used to it!!! Trials is about CONTROL not how high you can jump or fast you can go.
