You are already there, it so much easier to do rings now than to tear it apart later and spend money on the gaskets all over again.
-
Thanks Cman,
and as always they are good vids.
-
That's $30 dollars more than I have spent on a camera.
-
Hey Cman,
What camera are you using. Team WGASA needs some new filming equipment.
-
sometimes I do get a good one in.
-
That should be a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The top of that pyramid looks perfect size for a skid plate. And what the wifey don't know won't hurt me.
I am betting on bike.

HMMM slapshot is big hockey fan......
I hear that the "Sloppy" comment is all the rage with Hockey players about their girl friends........well EXes anyway.
-
Ok just to stir the pot.
Do we have an importer in the US?
Cope,
If you want to change the look of your bike 3m spray adhesive and fabric is a cheap way to do it.
-
Maybe but there would be nothing to purchase to replace it if you sold it. So therefore being worth more monetarily doesn't matter, it will be worth more to keep and ride.
Nasty Catch 22.
Nope,
EU banned Beef so US 100% tariff on motorcycles.
If the EU is to follow suit then they will put 100% tariff on porn.

Actually Biff gets along with my boys quite well.
He talks computers and video games with the older two and acts totally silly with the youngest.
He's a good friend.
-
OK first off I never understood how an industry can claim to "lose" money that it did not have to begin with. There is no guarantee that the EU would purchase the beef if it was allowed to be imported. The EU already has other sources of beef, they have for the past 20 yrs.
Second, how does the US government actually believe it will generate that amount of revenue each year off these tariffs. If bikes cost twice as they do now basically nobody will buy any, therefore none will be imported, therefore no tax money. Just because XXXXX number of people buy new bikes each year now does not mean that number will be the same after the price increase.
Third, The US has beef to export, The EU produces their own beef. If the EU does not want our beef they are able to purchase the beef produced in their own countries.
The EU has on road and off road bikes to export, the US has........well Harley Davidson and Buell and let's face it those really suck in off-road applications, I am not so sure they work well on the road either. (but that is merely my opinion) Point is if the US basically taxes these motorcycles away than there is no US produced alternative for those bikes. The EU bans US beef but they have an alternative already in their own countries.
And this would totally DESTROY the possibility of Observed Trials growing in the US.
But this may open a huge market share to Honda........Just call the montesa a Honda like they do in Japan, then it would be a Japanese bike not an EU bike. OOOH and a 4T also that all those Environmentalist ******* like so much.

Depends,
What country?
What area of said country?

Dad was heavily into riding trials in the 70's and early 80's. He got quite good and rode a few nationals. I started on a TY80 at 6 yrs old in 1979. rode for about 8 yrs or so. Got interested in Skateboards, guitars, and girls (not necessarily in that order) did a STUPID thing and sold my TY175 that I had at the time. Many years pass during which I married a wonderful lady (cuz she puts up with me) had the first 2 of my 3 kids. And felt the tug of trials for a long time. Wife finally got tired of me whining and gave the green light to ride again in about 2000. Kid number 3 has come along, first 2 no interest in bikes, but that's ok they said I can get free tech support with my computer from them , 3rd may be interested so far he likes anything with a motor.

If Teflon is non-stick how the hell do they get it to stick to all those metal pans?
Never seen powdered teflon but I imagine it should be extremely slick under the throttle tube. Probably works excellent.

What is this "bike cleaning" that every one refers to????
I just blast with power washer, and lube chain. Once a year my air filter gets cleaned whether it needs it or not. Maybe twice if I get real energetic.

I am still using the original "ice cream" scoop style pegs on my 2000 Sherco. file them up a bit to get sharp, as far as mud building up in them stop being lazy and just use a stick to clean them out or flick them up and let the spring snap them down a few times. Mud pops out. Save your money for other bits that break. If your pegs are broke or shot, then yep those titanium ones with no cross bracing look like the ones to go with.

I watched the Time Warp episode of bike trials tonight and thought it was really good. So I went to the Discovery.com/Timewarp posting board and suggested Motorcycle Observed Trials.

Please take a look, post in support if you like. Maybe we can get some more exposure for the sport on television. (Could really use some here in the States)

I am using graphite at the moment. been using for a couple months, seems to do the trick of making it smooth action but does not encourage dirt to stick. So far so good. not sure what I will find out long term.
