Bingo Click on the Pdf link to the right and you will be asked to open or save the file. You can figure it from there. Dad

Why doesn't some one put this up as a sticky, Free pdf file http://www.yamahaownershandbook.com.au/index.php Yes its for a 350 but your 250 is the same except for capacity. Peter
-
I think it is initially aimed at the mountain bike market but with bigger capacity and gears it could be interesting to say the least.

I came across this site and was amazed by their concept bike and began to wonder what it would be like with a few more cc's and some gears. derbi dh2.0

Hi fazerkid, try this for year http://www.cmsnl.com/faq.php?fq_catid=15 download the 350 manuals as the only difference is bore and stroke. I'm running 50:1 mobil synthetic in mine. Peter

Fresh fuel is the key in this case I think. I have been fooled into thinking that fuel I mixed last week would be good for this week. think about what has changed since you last started the bike, have you adjusted the timing, no,then what ? Peter

Could anyone tell me anything about 'Ihara'parts that were available for the mono's.My barrel is stamped 'BS-IHARA' and I suspect the reed manifold has been shortened. http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn171/d...eedmanifold.jpg http://i304.photobucket.com/albums/nn171/d...iharabarrel.jpg

I was guessing this is where the 'oil pump' for the post mixing was. Carby is 'Teikei' with choke on right side. This would indicate that it is an '84 S model. Peter

Dougal, where did they put a battery on a ty mono? peter

mine appears to be the same but with head to frme bracket but what about the airbox? the pic didn't seem to work will try again

Trawled the net and found this site, www.cmsnl.com-faq.phpfq_catid=15 , and the bike appears to be an '84. I think it's an 'S' as it has a steering lock and lighting but also a plastic tank [/img]

hi betabro, I'm up in Mt Alford, sunny Queensland. Peter

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble trying to date my ty 250 mono. Engine and frame numbers match and start with 53Y. I've noticed on all the pics I've seen of ty 250 monos that they have a long 'rubber' tube leading from the carby to the airbox (plastic?). Mine has a short tube leading to a fibreglass airbox. Any ideas and feedback would be appreciated. Peter.

Hi to all, Yes another aussie trying to relive his youth. Been many a year since on a bike and I have recently acquired a ty 250 mono to polish my trials skills with. I'm expecting the usual bumps and scrapes but hopefully nothing too serious. Hope to run across some of you at some events soon. Peter
