Well predicted dabster, Dougie proves he's still the best outdoors.
Rock On DOUGIE!!!!!!!
-
Apparently half of all new cars bought in the UK are now Diesels, people are trying to maximise their miles per pound!
-
Bet you don't have 80% tax though like we do here in the UK.
-
Bloody hell John, you're not really getting into the spirit of "pre 65" riding are you?
How can you be competative riding such a machine against modern technology painstakingly re-engineered to look like genuine old triallers?
-
Thats going too far, we can't condone drug taking at trials!
-
Ha Ha John surely you jest?
So are you saying that non of the "pre 65" bikes don't have fantic forks, electronic ignitions, gas gas engine internals etc etc.?
-
I have a tubeless rim on my TLR Honda, there are no rules which say you can't have a tubeless rim, so i put one on!
Much better puncture resistance at low pressures.

Thats the one!
-
You can still get 4 star petrol, there is a website which tells you all the locations, which i have forgot. I will post it when i remember.
-
I thought the first hydraulic clutch on a trials bike was Gas Gas in'92.
Anyone know different?
-
Nice bike, Beta boy.
It's nice to see the twisted rear mudguard is a universal problem affecting every make and model of trials bike the world over!!
-
You could also cut a small slot in the mudguard from the bolt hole to the edge so if you flip the bike the bolts "slip" out of the slots allowing the mudguard to release without breaking.
I tried this and it works!

The fantic 303 ran from 1987 to 1988.
I assume this is what you meant!
Try Bill Pye at Frankfield garage, he knows most things fantic!

Offering an SWM in part exchange for an old Fantic? I thought the idea was to move UP when you traded in!
-
Check his right foot, he's on his way out the back!
-
That's a much better one, who decided to let the bikes go to production with that plank on the back?
The mind boggles!
-
Hmm, that sure is one hell of a rear mudguard!
Sounds like a good idea to get some graphics made up, try your local sign company, they can knock anything up in vinyl for next to nothing.
-
You don't need grip when you've got about 35 horsepower and the first 5 gears to use on the yellow peril, you can burn through pretty much anything.
Besides, i wouldn't want to drop back down to a seeley when i have a superior mount!!!!!!!
Just wait until the 'evolution' SWM engine comes on line, everyone will need to stand back, RIGHT BACK!
-
Stainless pipe is definately better than chrome, like this........
-
He said he wanted to be a baker, not a mechanic!
-
That's one of the most vulgar vehicles i've ever seen!! besides one of those horrible new volvos with the "off road" "style"
-
TLR rear suspension is the best twinshock suspension there is, i modified an SWM rear end to install longer shocks and laid them down, a great improvement over standard.
-
VW caddy SDI
OK it's not huge, but i can get the trials bike in the back.
I hear the Mercedes transit sized vans can around 50MPG too.
-
Does anyone actually have a problem with dirt getting in their tailpipe??
Very unlikely i'd say, sounds like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist!
