I was thinking the same thing and at the same time was impressed with the level of riding.
Things can go wrong so fast in a water filled slippery stream bed
My 95 Section Man. says....
SINISTRO:
Diagram shows oil level 150 mm from the top of the fork.......looks to be with forks compressed as dampening rods appear to sticks out the top 6 inches or so.
Hope this helps
Sorry to have to keep explaining this to you....but the point is, when you manufacture using junk metal, hopefully using more of it (thicker tubing in the frame for instance) would result in less failure. Unfortunately not even the FIM can require a manufacture to use quality metal.
Didn't Tarres Bike fail due to a clogged radiator? Not a huge engineering failure. Regardless, I remember we had great anticipation of seeing the bike at the Tenn. WR several months later. It seemed to be the most popular bike there.
If most countries adopt minimum weight limits at their nationals (following the FIM standard, like no stop), then the manufactures will adjust their production bikes weight according. The build quality should follow and bike quality will rise to a standard somewhat higher than it is now.......as it can't get any worse!
Maybe adding a little weight to the bikes may add some reliability, especially in light of the sh_t metal used in the steel frames.......chromemoly steel my ass...surely not the same stuff available in the states.
I was thinking the same thing...you need to spend some money on that bathroom....the helmet can wait.
Actually the wallpaper and helmet design almost match.
Looks like he has made some good dough building homes. Now he is looking for a sh_t hole
to pour it down.....I think they should keep the name Vertigo.
I'am sure if you compared the crankshaft and flywheel weight of the Husky compared to a GG or Honda 4rt, you would easily find the weight difference. No way with the Husky at 22kg is that engine Trials Ready
