  1. Brian Roper and Karl Davis finished both days last weekend. As a matter of fact they missed our opening National Rounds to to be there.
  2. I was thinking the same thing and at the same time was impressed with the level of riding. Things can go wrong so fast in a water filled slippery stream bed
  3. Your probably right and I've enjoyed every one of them.
  4. Billy.......I've seen you ride, it has to be more than that !!!
  5. My 95 Section Man. says.... SINISTRO: versare l'olio nelle gambe forcella verificando che tra la sommita degli steli ed il livello dell' olio rimanga un volume d'aria di 150mm: rimontare il tubetto di precarico molla nello stelo sinistro ed avvitare i tappi superiori alla coppia di serraggio di 25 Nm Diagram shows oil level 150 mm from the top of the fork.......looks to be with forks compressed as dampening rods appear to sticks out the top 6 inches or so. Hope this helps
  6. OHHHHHHHH Sh_t !!! Here we go again.....happens about this time of year ...every year. Too many sheep running around in their yards I guess.
  7. Sorry to have to keep explaining this to you....but the point is, when you manufacture using junk metal, hopefully using more of it (thicker tubing in the frame for instance) would result in less failure. Unfortunately not even the FIM can require a manufacture to use quality metal.

    A Question

Billy.....you traded your Repsol for a Beta Evo.....???......tell me is isn't so.
  9. Maybe this is good for Montesa, they can now go back to making 247's. "New" vintage bikes may be the next big trend.
  10. Didn't Tarres Bike fail due to a clogged radiator? Not a huge engineering failure. Regardless, I remember we had great anticipation of seeing the bike at the Tenn. WR several months later. It seemed to be the most popular bike there.
  11. If most countries adopt minimum weight limits at their nationals (following the FIM standard, like no stop), then the manufactures will adjust their production bikes weight according. The build quality should follow and bike quality will rise to a standard somewhat higher than it is now.......as it can't get any worse!
  12. Maybe adding a little weight to the bikes may add some reliability, especially in light of the sh_t metal used in the steel frames.......chromemoly steel my ass...surely not the same stuff available in the states.
  13. Forget the map..just keep the throttle pinned and use the clutch.
  14. I was thinking the same thing...you need to spend some money on that bathroom....the helmet can wait. Actually the wallpaper and helmet design almost match.
  15. Seems like the no stop rule is a drop in the bucket compared to what these folks are dealing with.
  16. Isn't this the same thing (even Commo) all dealers do on a regular basis? How can they possibly stock everything?
  17. I feel some "Commo Sr" stories coming down the pike
  18. Don't change anything....he'll figure it out. That's half the fun.
  19. Not sure Colorado produces all that pot..but they have most of the smokers for sure.
  20. Looks like he has made some good dough building homes. Now he is looking for a sh_t hole to pour it down.....I think they should keep the name Vertigo.
  21. I'am sure if you compared the crankshaft and flywheel weight of the Husky compared to a GG or Honda 4rt, you would easily find the weight difference. No way with the Husky at 22kg is that engine Trials Ready
  22. I think Andy and I would agree......Lane Levitt of course
  23. But we would have missed his fine story.......!!!
  24. Didn't look like he learned anything to me.......needs a smaller obstacle or a spotter for sure. Damm good effort though.
