  1. When $20 fills your miata from empty and you get 3 bucks back it kinda makes you feel good on a friday.... Can anybody beat this? CotaKid your too close to the source to count --Biff
  2. BUMMER! Glad i didn't drive. I decided to go to cleveland and screw up my ankle on mountain bikes instead. Yeah things are tense up here in Detroit but I am still plugging away... Of the big 3 i am glad that i am with the strongest financially currently. --Biff
  3. So how did the event go? A part of me wanted to make a huge weekend trip. The wallet told me no..... --Biff
  4. click here I dont know if the guys from Maui are on here but i stumbled upon this with a random google search. I could not find a post about it in history. Electric Scorpa???? very cool. If i have to go to Maui to get one then sign me up! --Biff
  5. I bet the person below me in this post can still remember a section from two years ago.... Tell me something about the person below you in your post. --Biff
  6. Fantic Matze is in from Germany. Zippy's Much Much better half is letting him off the leash for a day. I have a new used Gary Fischer is bad a$$. We would be heading to rays mtb for a season opening in the morning. Cleveland Ohio www.raysmtb.com --Biff
  7. Circa 1998 or so right before we got rid of the pinky. Mr. Carl Peters there in the back ground. I did remember that the pinky frame used to bend in the back. --Biff
  8. I owned one and my dad owned two. His first was an 85 that was ported by ginder and ran like a top. We were in northern canada and found a 92 pinky from a dealer who wanted to ditch it. 1200 us at the time. That pinkey was great. Mine was an 86 with piston slap and a fox rear shock. I only lubed the swing arm and rode the bike. That thing just ran and ran and ran.... I will post a pic later on. --Biff
  9. The one thing that Ahrma has over Itsa for me is that Ahrma has a little taste of everything motorcycle from that era. It like a buffet. You can try new foods while you attend. Unfortunately if people are not trying the general chows chicken then the business owner would take it off the menu. If the chef has no clue how to cook general chow's chicken then it will end up badly. We are the people who want the general chows chicken in this senario. The owners would be Ahrma and people who taste it have not been happy recently.... Wow i like that analogy. --Biff
  10. So Saturday I call her old US cell phone to see if it still worked... She answered Me- "Hey FanticMatze how the He** are ya!?!" She- "Good Biff how the He** are you?" Me- "What are you doing tomorrow?" She- "I think riding bicycles around town tomorrow." Me- "Hahahahahahaha no no no you are riding trials tomorrow in Dayton Ohio." She- "I have no bike or gear." Me- "Yea that happens... Well your coming in the team wgasa rig and i have everything taken care of...." Me again- "By the way why the He** would you want to vacation in detroit???" Great weather. Hats off to the TI guys to make it a fun day.... Did you hear that train come rolling through? Poor guy in section 4 dabbed twice and probably cr@ped him self when that happened. I vote for a train related re-ride!!! --Biff
  11. I agree with what he said. ^ Cost is a factor for some people. When it is people start to question value. If the question is answered with anger and emotion rather than content I tend to disregard it. Most people that i know do as well. That is just constructive criticism. --Biff
  12. And they will rattle when the brakes are not applied. --Biff
  13. All I want to do is ride. Regardless of the cost. I hope to do this for the rest of my life. Thanks for the people who make it happen for me and thanks to the natc along with ama. --Biff
  14. I am sorry..... I could not pass it up..... Slow as what exactly??? --Biff Hmm I would have to try this one.
  15. NICE! Zippy your comming to NY! We are crashing at the parents house. --Biff
  16. I liked the 10 event thing we used to have. I could make enough of them to be competitive and get some experience riding in different areas. If i broke on day 1 of any event i would figure out what i am doing for the season. Even though times are tough i like going places and riding. I think that an east coast west coast idea would be great. Less travel if you choose to do so. Breakage of both the body and the spirit would not put you out of everything. I cant see my fat a$$ getting up on day 4 to ride again to be honest with you. --Biff
  17. I cant blame anybody but myself. comp or non comp i just rode bad. I had fun regardless. I loved the culvert section! Felt like a star! --Biff
  18. That was a really great event. Unfortunately the power of cheese landed me in absolutely last place. My head was not into it. My costume was really into it. Because Scott and Robert moved up and i rode a stellar last place i have not cemented myself into a very last place expert trophy! I have to start working on my fitness now if i am going to be any good next year. Loose some of this cow weight! GREAT event boys. Very safe very tame. Zippy should have run up there with us. --Biff
  19. As I understand it we are getting to ride on the other side of the property for this one! Who will be the last place expert????? Will Mike come out of hunting season to beat me???? Will Biff come in costume??? (you bet your a$$) Will it snow? Can Brockaway figure out a way to not use those roley poley rocks??? Can zippy go a whole loop with out texting his wife? Can we get Cap and Keener to move up? Will I break another shift lever? Will Mitchell bend his knees? Will my exhaust catch on fire? (probably) So many questions. Only time will tell... Come on out to Vermontville and check out all of the suspense and action!!!!! Season closer!!!! Very easy loop for those who are starting out. Heres the Link. --Biff
  20. Thanks for the input guys! I will let you know how it goes. I might have some opprotunities to try some stuff out. Have a great day. --Biff
  21. I use 80:1 but after a lot of trials riding then a 50 mph run to work this happens. Not just with gasgas but i have seen it on a 315 r as well. I would rather that the oil in my mix not burn but to keep the piston well lubed. That unburnt oil collects. I choose golden spectro --Biff
  22. I am super psyched about the Transit Connect comming to the States. As long as we don't ba$tardize it like the Focus it should be a good thing. Ford Transit I have always liked the Sprinter unfortunately I don't work for that company. I do work for this one but have not had an opprotunity (yet) to put it through the paces. I don't think that we will get the diesel but I have a couple of questions for you EU boys/girls It looks like it will take two bikes. Am I correct? It looks like i could put a full size cot in there maybe two. Have you done this? I would guess that a bunch of you use these. I am not worried about the whole reliability thing. I am on the fix it end of that. What is the overall use ability of this thing for what we do? Thanks in advance for your thoughts. --Biff
  23. Thanks Martina! I need to soak up this cup of coffee and get up there to build! Should be an interesting event. I think we are going with 8 sections and 5 loops to try and keep the sections big. Should be entertaining for the experts and advance riders. Spectators will have a show if i can pull off my idea. Keep cool and dry in Germany! --Biff
  24. Dude that stinks! I am bumming that I really have not made any trials out there this year. I need a good New Woodstock or Oneonta fix. Take it easy man and maybe leave the helmet on full time from now on... hahahaha. --Biff
