Yes the revised irc still come off the rim. Multiple rims. We are calling them "i r ceeing you dnf any moment". At 5 to 6 psi the leak slowly and around 3 ish become a bracelet. My dunlop d803gp's have ridden half a loop in sections flat (only on the bottom mind you) just to make their way back to the pits for a repair. I have found the sidewall on the irc to be stiffer not softer.

I have checked many national and world round in the past. Its tough and I can't say that I am a flawless checker. One thing I tell our checkers here is try to be fair and consistent. If one of the checkers read this please don't think that we are trying to single you out. I know that the camera isn't everywhere.

I traded an intake manifold and set of coils for a horrible condition ty175. So far I've got a set of lower end bearings and a gasket kit invested. We're gonna call it "ratty 175" when she is done.

Surfing on line the other week I ran across a familiar bike that was for sale. I know that I have seen that bike with a few owners on previous occasions. Trials is smaller here in the states so its hard to find a used bike where you didn't at least know of the owner. I would assume that running across a bike in Europe multiple times is very common. Generally these are known as the town moped where everyone has a ride. Anybody have stories of trials bikes that "get around a lot"?

As it was a Christmas present I really didn't get into the cost. I believe here in the states Frexia may be providing an opportunity between nationals. When I spoke with Adam I mentioned that there would probably be an opportunity for him if he wanted to hold something similar here in the States if he has the time. Less than $200 american i think is the going rate per person but again a gentleman doesn't ask and lady never tells.
New bike to me over there was also a pleasant surprise even though we have been talking and thinking about it.

I rode this past weekend before the snow hit. It was cold and windy here but a Noob wanted to get out there so I couldn't refuse. All that mud we churned up in the weeks prior warm weather has turned in to nice solid traction. My fair weather team not so WGASA members were wimps and didn't join us. This weekend its southbound and down for some early season prep work. We are calling it G...cation 2017! HA!

Yesterday and last night we got about 6 inches of fresh powder here in the Detroit metro area. Still many many shanties here with out power with our wind storms last week.
Guy at Gas Station trying to impress with his bike knowledge:
"Yea those bikes you have there are actually flat track bikes that you aren't using properly"

Glynn as you can see it varies. Best of luck but dont worry about it too much. Ask questions and don't worry about trying to know it all ahead of time. You will learn a lot at this event you go to but dont try to feel obligated to know it all instantly. I miss markers and miss read sections even with doing this for a long time. Just promise to try and have fun and dont be shy. The rest will fall into place.

So Glenn you should get away this weekend (17,18 and 19th) to TTC and hang with Zippy, I and the rest of the boys. You know a last hurrah for the east coast before you move on.

With our left hand drive cars and manual transmissions I know some people get very nervous about having to drive a car in the UK or any other right hand drive country. Growing up we had a 1952 farmall cub tractor with the stick on the left. I never found the shifter side to be a big issue but again i grew up driving the thing. Great machine to learn the "Double clutch" on too.
