  1. What i cant understand is how one country can pay so little where another pays so much. http://money.cnn.com/pf/features/lists/global_gasprices/ Some global economy..... --Biff
  2. We ran internal combustion engines on gaseous hydrogen in college and found that the flame front was extreemly quick and we had problems getting a full combustion on each stroke because it just wouldnt mix enough in time. Nice thing about gasoline or alchohol is that they burn slow in comparison to other fuels. With direct injection we could control the flame front but blew holes in many a piston. If you get the timing down it might just work but keep your stroke small don't expect a lot of rpm. It is extreemly hot when it burns as well as being volitile and quick. I dont know about 2 stroke but i know that it burns hot enough to take off any oil films which we had in our pistons and cylinder walls in 4 stroke applications. Now a fuel cell powered motorcycle hmmmmm use some Ultra Capicitors and you have something there... --Biff
  3. Did your friend recognize the brand after revising the logo? Did your friend ask where the seat was? Related story: I was a service writer in a Ford dealership here in the states. A hot blonde came in and stated that she was dropping off her boy friends Ford FISO Pronounced Fee-z-oh Um sorry what vehicle i asked? Fee-z-oh she stated.... Umm never heard of a Ford Fee-z-oh i replied. She got quite upset and told me that there are thousands of these on the road. Oh ok well show me this mystry vehicle. We went out and checked out her ford FISO Yep ok we will take care of that for you...... --Biff

ooooooooo and Citytrials is silent...... Its bad weather in chi town right now.... He cant be out and about.... it is almost thanksgiving but we know that trials is his first family... Will we hear a response???? Kudos ringo good to read your thoughts again. Gotta love the drama of a motorcycle related challenge. I think we should have a "Pinks" trials episode here in the states. Ooo a pinks enduro cross! --Biff
  8. Great Job PAT! Its almost hard to pick up Mizell with out a striped shirt.... We need to get that kid a striped suit or something..hahahaha --Biff
  9. I bet this guy has a whole bunch of extension cords pluged into each other hahahahahahahaha. --Biff
  10. Yeah just like Ryan and Brad had to drop the sherco camp to start hanging out with those Hottie Tottie Scorp riders.... Probably not... Adrian is the man when it comes to knowing these machines and having that he got what he deserves. A large company to believe in his business... I think this is great! If Montesa wants him to drop all other brands i would be surprised. --Biff
  11. Looks like he will be riding a beta 2t clicky here --Biff
  12. ROTFLMAO!!!! I have been posting here in anything goes wayyyyy too much lately but I just couldn't keep this one to my self. 13. http://community.discovery.com/eve/forums/...08/m/5551976639 If you can get this show across the pond it is really entertaining... I feel complete now. Any of you seen this thing in action? --Biff
  14. YEAAAAAaaaaaa no more middle muffler to explode! Looks like cdi up front under the rad. Thats a lot lower than the present ignition box. If the air box is the same then the air filter should be a carry over. My only wonder is if this thing uses mass air flow or speed density type of air flow management? hmmm time will tell. I want i want i want! Ohv versus a flat head does not bother me one iota. Flat heads have great torque and so what if they run out of breath. Who needs rpms in trials. Atom dont count your chickens before the eggs have hatched. In detroit every body is building a 700 hp 10 second car but when it comes time to run they end up having a 200 hp noise maker infront of a used truck transmission that leaks like a siv. --Biff
  15. here here! Trials bikes last a longggggg time for the simple fact that most of us cant abuse them enough to cause any major faults. Ride what you are happy with. Ride to be out there. If your brand of bike needs to be proven it will be in the woods. --Biff
  16. Here is a couple more from that national. Man i still have dreams about the first one here. I am 20 feet up with no place to land! hahahahaha oh man this is going to hurt! I actually made that section the first time through. Mitchell my roommate was my minder. He ended up getting dragged down the rocks on his elbows holding on to the bike.... He still complains to this day.... --Biff
  17. RI huh?.... Hope you like rocks! Great trials out there.... My swing arms will never forget it. --Biff
  18. I have a buddy who rides enduro with one in a pampera. I rode the bike and it was ok. The major advantage he said is that when he falls over he does not have to restart the bike and in enduro when your pressed for time thats a plus. I would never put one on a trials bike. It was smooth but didnt come in till about 1500 rpm and i want that lugging power to be there when i twist the throttle. Some people i have talked to can not get used to the modern on and off clutch. If thats the issue your thinking of fixing then maybe you might want to look at the oil your using or chain tension. --Biff
  19. No i was surfing around on their website and found it in their funny email section. I listen to them every weekend religiously. The boston accent reminds me of home... --Biff
  20. I bought the whole video.... AWESOME is all i can say. I think urban riding will be huge some day in the future. Out of Section video I highly recommend it. The sound track of the video is more pg then the trailer. --Biff
  21. Sweet! glad you found your problem. Sorry to have mislead. I will keep this one in the back of the brain. --Biff
  22. I had this happen on a sherco once. You could even shut off the fuel and the damn bike would still run! We found that the crank bearing on the clutch side had gone and it was sucking oil from the case and running on that. It was easy to see once we pulled the case cover on the clutch side. When that bearing goes the crank and its mating gear will bang into the clutch gear. If this is your problem then it will require that the cases be split and bearings along with seals replaced. --Biff
  23. Taken from a public radio show here in the states... Single in the Supermarket Dear Click and Clack, I was shopping at the local supermarket where I selected: A half-gallon of 2% milk, a carton of eggs, a quart of orange juice, a head of romaine lettuce, a 2 lb. can of coffee, and a 1 lb. package of bacon. As I was unloading my items on the conveyor belt to check out, a drunk standing behind me watched as I placed the items in front of the cashier. While the cashier was ringing up the purchases, the drunk calmly stated, "You must be single." I was a bit startled by this proclamation, but I was intrigued by the derelict's intuition, since I was indeed single. I looked at the six items on the belt and saw nothing particularly unusual about my selections that could have tipped off the drunk to my marital status. Curiosity getting the better of me, I said: "Well, you know what, you're absolutely right. But how on earth did you know that?" The drunk replied, "Cause you're ugly." --Biff
  24. Funny Motivation We have seriously considered buying posters and hanging them up here at work.... hahahaha good one. --Biff
