Older bikes with GG (or Paioli?) forks use those in front. Newer bikes from 05 or 06 with Marzochi forks use 6509 (if I remember correctly)

Just curious.. what level do you call this section?
Regarding what bike stalls easyer I disagree. I have had all sizes of engine. In chronologic order: 270, 200, 300, 125, 200, 280, 200 and now 250 . The 300 was the bike stalling the most. The 280 didnt ride much until I foud it too much. Even the 250 I ride now stalls on me often. The 200`s cant even remember it stall once. Maybe sounds strange, but the reason I believe is that I ride the bigger engines on low revs. The 200 and specialy the 125 you have to rev high.

Or go for somewhere in the middle, pack them with quality grease often, and they last "forever"

Wow!
But isnt it time for injection now??

Ehh.. not trying to offend anyone.. Just realized that last post could look as I did.. :-)

Nope Jon.. thats for the PRO. Try reading the question again..
But thanks anyway..

Hi
Anybody know the part number for the front fender bracket on a 2010 Cadet? We have one 07 and one 10,and the bracket is not alike.
Thanks

Hmm.. if remember correctly, it will be on "Wet" if you just disconnect switch. However if you connect the two leads together it will be on "Dry".
But im not 100% sure..

The bearings you are talking about is HK1520-2RS. Been trying to get those in Norway without luck.
Original bearings is HN1516

You just need to remove airbox and rear wheel. Then remove upper shock bolt. Then lower shock bolt and its all yours.. :-)

Well... did take a look at the old seal with a magnifyer glass, and it clarely(?) stated 33 x 45x10. I am pretty sure this is the original seal.
Allthouh the info on GasGas site says 32 mm fork. Why?, and what is right?
-
Hi
Anybody know the measures on the fork seals for the Cadet?
I measured the old one to 33x45x10 mm, but it seems that the Cadet has 32mm forks, so I guess my measuring wasnt correct (enough).
Thanks

Dot 4 = Brake fluid
Mineral oil = ehh.. oil..
This artikle on Wikipedia should explain the difference
GasGas uses mineral oil in clutch pump because some fluid leaks into gear oil, and brake fluid ruins the gear oil and clutch plates.

The "fork" on the gear shift axle is probably bendt. You can inspect it by taking off the right engine cover.
Good news is - as opposit of the pro models - the axle can be changed without splitting the engne.. :-)

Snow is finally gong away in our area. Been out a couple of hours today! Niiicee!!
-
Very good video!
As for what oil, and how much.. I use the GRO Gear Extreme oil that my GasGas shop provides me. That said there are plenty of discussions on this board regarding oil type. Try a search..
About 450 ml should be enough to get the level on the upper half of the sight glass.

Dont worry. This is normal on theese bikes.
Have fun!! :-)

Could be the fuel tap getting clogged too... Disconnect the fuel hose, and check if the fuel runs freely.

Hi
Try to connect the two leads to the temperature sensor together. If the fan runs now, its probably a faulty temp sensor. Quite normal... Could be some bad connections, so check that too..
If the fan still doesnt run, you could try appying 12v directly.

Yeah.. familiar with that on the up to 10 models.
Now we got a 2011 model "in tha house" witch is got the newer type silencer with plastic end like this:
What I did was mount the inner tube first. Then packed the aluminium part. Mounted the plastic part without the end tip and then filled the rest with packing material. Finally mounted the end.
Well it worked somehow, but wonder if it is some clever way to do it.

Put a new plastic end silencer on the kids 2011 today, and it felt naturally to repack it the same time. Well I did manage to get it together OK I think, but wonder how You guys do it, :-)
Thanks

One thing that keeps surprising me in this discussion is that everyone that likes No Stop seem to be "Classic people". Do you really think the sections in WTC are going to be like Classic sections where you will be able to ride a section without moving front/rear wheel sideways, and that high spectacular obstackles will disappear? Well think again. This is WTC. The turns will still be to tight, and the obstacles will still be high and spectacular. The difference is that No Stop is MORE difficult. Not easyer as claimed as the reason for No Stop.
The other thing is how this is going to sell more bikes. Its like potential new riders saying "WOW! They are not allowed to stop! Amasing! i have to get me a trials bike to try this!"
Cheers from Norway

Try levering it out even from both sides at the same time. Be very careful to not damage the surface that you lever against.
If no luck, I suppose you can leave it there until its time to knock out the crankshaft.

Didnt I tell You??
Im not surprised. Got a whole bunch of those idle gears all looking more or less just like yours in my garage... Two in a month is my record,, ;(
Jan

Hi
My bet is you engaged the kickstart while falling, and damaged one or more teeth on the idle gear. Remove the clutch basket and inspect the gears. Easy fix, but that gear is priced like gold
Ehh.. and dont forget to squeeze the cluth lever - and this is very important - before AND after the fix...
