    New Beta Owner...

Even fixed all the scratches in the fork leg too, made it look just like a new one.
  2. Brides wear white because all domestic appliances come in white.
  3. What is that thing she is holding??
  4. Now Ringo, you know Beave won't show up unless he is the star of the show. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He will be a Bridesmaid.
  5. I think my 06 is the best version I have ever had, but that 05 sounds like the buy to go for.
  6. Should the R and L arrows on the walls be pointing towards each other? The way the would point would be outwards and not to each other.

    Engine Removal

With the sump gaurd which will be bent and under tension, take it and the bike to a workshop with a press and spend 10 minutes gently bending it back to form. Do not flex the rear bolt tabs as they will snap.
  9. and each time he has watched it the bike performs the same as it has every other time.
  10. A shorter swing arm will give you a better turning circle. I doubt Caby would ever use the full lock as those boys just hop their bike around anyway. I expect he uses it as he prefers the overall balance. The older Sherco's are 35mm longer in the wheelbase than a Beta. I don't know about the other brands. Lower footpegs will improve your balance, just jump on an old TY and see how long you can balance for.

    New Bike

I have had 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 and now an 06 and I feel this bike has been the biggest change to riding than any other single year. This bike is fantastic. Disclaimer: This statement is valid until an 07 is parked in my shed.
  12. That was somones pride and joy just a few years ago. Notice the grease nipple in the headstem.

    New Frame?

I expect you will not see an all new Beta until 2008. They would not have spent the money on new plastic moulds for the rear mudgaurd if they would only use it one year. Plastic moulds are not cheap and to use it for one year would not make financial sense.

    Beta Rev 80

What size are the jets in the Jet Kit?
  15. The plastics from 2003 and onwards will fit the 2002. You will need to also get the air filter cover part number 12-73213-0-97 and the Gasket Seal 16-75910 (2004 part numbers) plus the gaurds themselves.
  16. Working lights are a requirement for the TdN and I think the World Championships is I remember correctly.

Hi Storky, glad to see another fellow Aussie kicking back and keeping his feet up around here.

  20. The video has been redone and can be downloaded from here.
  21. Yeah it's a bit dodgy. It is being redone. I will repost when it's updated.
