has any one got any info on mods for a ty 250 mono or any pick would like to hear of any one. I started to make a new set of fork yokes which i will post pics when i take them i have a disc front brake and i am thinking of making a 4 pot caliper and may put usd forks on my ty and may be a aluminum swingarm

was this bike on ebay few weeks ago and it was in south wales in tonypandy anyway i live near by and went to look at the jcm started up ok the front and rear shocks were crap it needed new springs in the front and regas the rear the engine sounded ok ish when i spoke to the guy he said it would run ok and some times makes a big rumbling nosie he said stop the engine for 5 min and start it up and it will run fine so i went home done some home work on this bike i phoned up brian griff and he said he has 4 pistons left and they are

i am thinkin of changing the ring s on my gg 280 pro 2005 model as i found the plug was gettin a bit wet when i went to clean it does any know what sort of price the rings and gaskets would cost me

hi mate this happen to me a few months ago i had a beta techno 1998 model i phoned up the dvla and they sent out a pack for registering a bike it say that if you bike is over 3yrs old you got to MOT the bike using the frame numbers and get insurance using frame numbers and certificate of newness to reg the bike on a age related plate and they will want of of this before they will give you a reg number when they give you the reg number you got to but a tax disc before they give you a log book i did not go thro all this i just sold the bike and went out bought a 2005 gasgas that was road reg i have got insurance with bennetts at the moment but i think whan i wanted to reg the beta i was going to use carol nash but they said that they will insure the bike on the frame numbers but had to get back to them with the bike reg within 2 weeks or they would stop the insurance as they need a reg number hope this helps you

the shop filled the gearbox with bel-ray gear box oil 75w is this ok to use in a pro 2005 280cc

i seen these for sale at telford they look nice but that s it not some thing i would put on my bike as they are very thin slight bump and i think the welds would crack and not as good as wes system better quality i think the wes is

took the bike again today its seam s to be clunky now in every gear

can any one help me i just bought a 2005 gasgas pro from a shop last week when i started the bike up and put it in to gear it made a small crunch in nosie when i put it into first gear rode the bike for about 5 mins then parked it up , yesterday when i had it out to clean it up a bit i started it up again and same thing agian but when i put it back into netural and pushed it back into first no nosie then was this because the bike had time to warm up ,when i spoke to the shop he said that all pro gasgas do this because they only have 4 gears the move up and down the shaft alot to make up the 6 speed box

bvm moto said he would give me a month word of mouth warranty but i have bought a bike from him years ago had it 3 days took it back and he charged me for the labour

can any one put my mind to rest i went to bvm yesterday and put a deposit on a 2008 rev 3 250cc after i give him the deposit he told me the bike was owned by one of the young boys that works in the parts dept i spoke to the boy and he told me that it had a engine rebuild a few weeks ago but the bike is only 10 months old this has set alarm bell ringin so i am thinking on pullin out of the deal after some serious thinking why should the bike have to have a rebuild in less than a year he told me the main bearing failed and had to be rebuild has any one heard of this problem as i dont want to pay big money for a problem bike
