Wednesday will be interesting, our news reports over here are saying London will have a record numbers security force in place for her funeral.

All the youngsters you mention and many more that have trained all there lives to possess such extremely high skill levels can see that the huge financial committement to relocate and be full time entrants in the WTC brings little reward and very little recognition. Add to that a governing body that seems to keep moving the goal posts, who can blame them for looking elsewhere or dropping off the scene.

All politicians now are members of a co-operative with there main agenda squarely focused on remaining in power at what ever cost to anyone but themselves....

Looking at picking up my third Ossa very soon and cant wait. The best thing about the Ossa is it would be ideal for what you are looking to do, trialing and some exploring. If you are not aware, I can tell you you have the most knowledgeable and helpful Ossa dealer right there in Canada who goes that extra yard to help anyone that uses this forum.

Had to happen.
When will commonsense and a proven format that these current riders have grown up with and developed their riding skills around, not be bushwacked by outside influences that undoubtably have an agender in mind when some of these farcical changes are put in place. Whats worse many rule changes are usually spirited in the back door with little or no consultation with the very people it will effect. Nothing will change the abilities of the top riders or their positions on the scoreboard. What you do risk is loosing them from the sport altogether.

Speeds back over here too now.

To ease up a bit is not the answer. Really is very unfair, as it then will see TB not riding to his potential and gives the lesser skilled rider scores that do not reflect how far away they really are from the man. Can see where your coming from, but to ride the whole series clean, which would be a likely out come, and have the other top 3 or 4 counting on TB dropping a five is not the way to get closer results. Bou has got the talent, if he is to be beaten it has to be by a more skilled rider, not changing the goal posts.

Reading this from a non Brit perspective, but having seen some bewildering rule changes of late, I sympathise with your riders how such an important turn around can be implemented with out the consultation and approval of the riders it was to effect.
The top boys that are competing in the BTC are the prodigy of the stop allowed system.
The introduction of the stop allowed system, we were told, was designed to bring our young riders fore ward to best set them in a position to compete on the world stage.
Training hard all their careers and developing skills and techniques that rely on the fundamental requirement of stop balancing, stop positioning and pause planning each section at a level very few riders can achieve.
To penalise the cream of your sport in their home Championship, putting them out of step with there peers, has really placed your boys in no mans land.
They have every right to feel let down with the change.

Best Trials bike I've ever owned has just got better......apparently !!!!!!

Day 1 I followed the top riders right round first lap and found the sections very intimidating, especially with the damp conditions. All riders seemed very nervous. Couple of very big offs were spectacular. Drizzling rain started as the top riders were at the huge up hill mega launch section 3 on the second loop. From this point on with a fresh moisture coating, Tony showed everyone why he has the number 1 plate. His second lap of 7 points would have been 2 as he had to race to the finish cards of section 13 and timed out. Raga Cabistani and Bou were the only riders to attempt this section on lap 2.
