Don't even joke about electric bikes! I understand we need to save the planet blablabla, But Electric Bikes No Way.
-
You need to start thinking out of the Bench Press box!, You don't need to have power Mass to trials ride, There is no point, It will one make you heavier which is no good for a top trials rider, and two, you will get tired far too quick as a power lifter.
Top lads will have extremly good CV and train to an endurance programme, which is higher reps lower weights. To train the body to do lots for a long time. Weight training with heavy weights is no good, for this sport anyway.
Best form of training is to simply get out on the bike, That builds up all the muscles you need and use, along with building your CV.

Oh Pi** off,
That looks like bliss, How nice would that be to go off and ride along.
Mega jelous.
-
No Probs,
You've just got to remember, You can break an ankle walking down your stairs.
What will happen will happen, Yes we are increasing that chance but hay, What will be will be won't it.
You fellas are so lucky out there, SOunds like you can liturally go out your back garden and bugger off into woodland. Were goverened so much over here. Can't fart without having to fill in some sort of damage to the earth form, and insuring ourselves against it!
-
You could go too far with this i suppose. Why do we not wear full spinal protection like road racers etc etc.
End of the day for Competition trials, you need to have full view of your surroundings, or else this will increase the chance of an accident, if you launch yourself and not realise there is a rock, that you can't see due to the chin guard. So you have to take into account the probabilty of serious injury when only travelling at about 2 mph, wether it be up a rock or down hill etc. The probability that if you come off your going slow enough to do something about it. I.E launch away from the bike, Look down see where your going to land.
So there is no real point in full protection, Trials you need full movement of body parts to do your best.
Motocross or Trail riding like you do, Then yes maybe you would feel better with more protection, Cause your flying along, Crack a tree stump funny it'll throw you uncontrolably most probably into the closest rock or tree.
Probably babbeling on now, but the moral of the story is, in Full competition trials more protection is the cause of accidents.

You need to clean your air filter after every trial, Get a spare one thats ready to rock and roll, Whilst your cleaning your other one.
YOu need to clean your carb out like you have done, Every other trial or after a really muddy trial or where you've been around deep water.
Dirt gets in the carb fairly easy with trials bikes through the air boxes, Especially on a 315.
Have you got some mesh over the holes in the Seat part of the mudguard?? If not get the wifes Siv out of the kitchen, Cut some appropiate sized squares out of it. Take the Rear mudguard of and get the glued to the back of the holes.
This will stop alot of dirt getting to the airbox

Oh Dear!!!
Looks like it's got a bit of all sorts slapped on it, Why would you have a single pot front caliper on a motocross? Especially with no back brake.
-
Make sure you haven't kinked the petrol pipe when you've put tank back on.
Other than that just whip carb out give it a good clean out, Check spark plug etc, If you have a new one just put that in.

There are two things you need to pay,
The ACU, the form you have will need to be signed by the club secetery, and then you send a tenner, bank card is easiest to the ACU with this form.
http://www.acu.org.uk/uploaded/documents/A...ialsRegForm.pdf
Then once your card comes back you can enter a trial. Some clubs will let you run on the understanding that your form has just been sent off, Some demand your licence number.
On the club side, You will need to join a club, or you can join hundreds of clubs, Each will require a fee, Usually a fiver ish.
Hope this is a bit clearer.
