Nah it's his dad....
B40RT continually call's me by my old man's name..I'm used to it...no shot of Scottish energy drink for him on Friday....just to keep the cold and rain out.
Spikeyone....The caveat is in there already mate... we're not confident about the weekend never mind next week.
-
As I've written elsewhere, this weekend coming looks horrible, I'd even say there's a risk of a snow shower higher up on Saturday.
HOWEVER........based on the cut out of a chart below the main part of next week is looking better. If this scenario works out it'll improve steadily from Sunday afternoon onwards, the high pressure building from the southwest. The high will continue to build until it kind of stops over the UK. East coast will be crap but the west could have a really good week. BUT as thing have been changing so much recently model run by model run I would prepare for the worst and everything else is a bonus
The pic is for midday Tuesday; Light easterly winds, partly cloudy temperatures up to 21 degrees, what more do you want.....
-
Might I refer you "shower" to the Pub Weather thread.......
-
It always is...
Anyway...
For the pre65.....Friday: cloudy, light rain in the morning, showers and brighter spells in the afternoon. temperature between 12/14 degrees, not too
breezy
Saturday: Cloudy, rain overnight, showers and brighter intervals in the afternoon. temperature between 10 and 12.
Sunday: No huge change, more frequent showers as the day progresses.
Monday/Tuesday: fewer showers and a bit warmer up to about 15 degrees.
As the week progresses theres still a strong suggestion that a high will establish itself. Even Friday is a while away and it could all change. None of us have any confidence in any of the models at the minute, no consistency whatsoever...I'll keep the coming.

Scares the crap out the folk following in a car mind....
-
See the "Sticky" thread at the top of the Beta pages. Take the time to do the mods, float heights etc etc mikuni's are not the best but a well set up one should give you no trouble. only time I've had probs at the overflow is if there's been muck in the carb
-
patience punters....the weather for the weekend is so out of sorts it's rediculous I'll post something properly later
-
Gav,
you've been at sea too long mate.....I think some of the local sheep might even object to your attentions with that device...
-
Left the tea leaves and seaweed soaking.....we don't know what's going to hapen tomorrow never mind next week. Three different stories today alone every time the model ran it was different...useless junk.. see what the morning brings
-
-
Surely you mean an abacus..
-
Noticed you cut off the second word in his score...low one...hundred..
-
I'll have a look at the new ones in the morning...and let folks know you coming up??
-
Not half as funny as using Metcheck...... :D
-
There's a shop locally that does that sort of thing run by a woman called Anita Minge......
-
You've done it, I'll take your word for it mate.
I have heard it said that the bit over Annat is nasty, remember watching at Trotters a couple of years back the shell shocked looks of people coming off the moor.
-
Her low cut top is obviously a method of distracting the observers....
-
.....and I'll have my wee camera on the furthest out places just catch any bugger that tries....I WILL PUT THEM ON HERE...name and shame
-
Looks like the usual mix of fun and nonsense but it's nice to see things mixed around a wee bit. That new bit on Wednesday could be fun and I can't remember the last time there was no Callert or Blackwater in the trial, then again leaves the ground for another year...looks like fun
Meant to say as well, looks like a bit less road miles as well, Wednesday 20 road miles out of 77, Thursday maybe 30 out of the 108 are off road and on Saturday almost all off road maybe bar about 6 miles...fantastic.

Good images interesting editing.
You don't have to go all out to get the specific obstacle in, I always think that's down to personal choice. I find it's more important to get the bike sharp and some sense of motion in the pics. If you look through the threads you'll see the bike is the key to it motion and emotion. if you can get in close, real close then you can take exceptional images that capture that little bit of something special that gives you a real essence of the sport.
The Sigma 70-200 lens is superb but it's a heavy old bugger, (certainly not one you'd want to carry on the bike Copey). Get in close if you can and use shorter focal lengths...that would be my tuppence worth
-
I can hear the wild horses pulling you in the opposite direction....
-
Javier, I read that post and thought just how accurate it was until the last sentence.....surely you mean Castrol "R"
PS....That looks superb No Jive
-
I've something rather better going to Texas this year.....
-
