  3. STOP STOP...no more Sherco is better than Gasser is better than Montesa etc etc etc. Each has their merits and the best advice you'll get is to try as many different makes as you can before you decide. While a Sherco might suit Shercoman2k8 his advice might be pointless to you if you don't like it. Only you can decide what's right for you. When you've decided the look for the best value bike you can get, which has been well looked after and maintained. You'll see if you read through the bike specific forums which little foibles each brand of bike has.
  4. Selling is not allowed on the forums. Anyway, best advice is to try and get to try as many types as you can at a dealers the go for what's comfiest...we all have different shaped heads, hope this helps

  13. Another way to infer movement is to let the subject come to you as in the image of Donna Fox below. Prefocus on a spot and hit the button at the right time I also find that really tight close ups give you that feeling of movement as well...pic 2 Michele Bosi
  14. Bluetooth....looks more like loobrush

  18. All that time spent pulling those lists together... Great idea.
  19. Initial shout actually came from Bon Accord Perce, not John, and if folk want to point fingers I suggested that we check that the SACU didn't have something up their sleeves before we went on a had the first championship round of the year and laid out a lot of money that we'd then have to pay out again if the system was different. Yeah, Bon Accord has hundreds of cards of various colours and yeah maybe it's pointless to change it all but pulling all classes together is a new concept that needs a straightforward method of marking. Entries are dwindling for everyone therefore to hold a championship meeting that's worthwhile we have to pull all classes together and hope that works. To do that we need clarity on the routes and the only way to do that is specific colours per class or group of classes. The same concept works on the continent and if you look at the SPEA markers in WTC they have the similar concept. The concept is essentially simple and it also makes it more straightforward for observers
  20. That explains it Gizza....all these years of abuse and it's because his eyes were still tight shut after coming off Doire Damh
  21. We were trying to come up with the right way to do it at a BAMCC meeting on Wednesday night and it seemed obvious that we try to do something that might become a "rule" in the near future. We can't carry on confusing riders forever.
  22. Must be why you like Scotland....all uphill stuff
