  5. FFS mate don't get white ones. Unless you happen to be Dougie Lamkpin or Toni Bou etc etc etc they just look gay. Only ever used Alpinestars (BLUE ONES) as a choice, had some Gaernes for a while and didn't like them. All boots leak to some extent the best solution is Sealskins of a couple of asda carriers wrapped round your feet before you tuck em into your boots..... (tesco bags have wee holes in the bottom of them)
  6. ......and i'm a Scot with a wife who considers herself English because her old man is and a nearly 16 year old duaghter who was born in Leeds and has decided she's foreign as well ... you think you've got problems mate... I'd suggest they've maybe hit the market at the wrong time and had this been a year ago the money side wouldn't be much of a discussion point. I suspect they'll sell a few from "novelty" perspective but I don't see it ever being a huge seller like Gassers or Beta. As to who'll buy it, that's a good piont and I'd have to agree with your reasoning however there will be some folk who want to be different and will maybe have a look at it. As for whats cool: coolness is whatever the world champ is riding directly proportional to the cost of said bike, at
  7. ....come on boys, I'm working, can't see youtube, any still images of this lovely...please please please
  8. A works bike of some sort..... Eddie Lejeune's 360 RTL, couple of seasons before they brought out the RTL Mono. Gorgeous....worth a fortune

Now waht you should have done is pour a little of the Whisky on to the Haggis.... adds another flavour
  15. They are like rocks, no give and no grip!!
  16. Simply put, the harder your knobbles the better it'll go in the sloppy stuff ..... or in proper English, the Michelin is of a softer compound than the others IRC and Vee Rubber, even Dunlop and the horrible Pirelli. Therefore it'll grip better on rocks and in burns but maybe the compromise is mud.
  17. It's metaphor......yeah right!!! It's not in the busty Italian mode like a Sophia Loren, Gina Lolobrigida or Monica Belluci (my dad told me about the first two.... ) but she is a pretty lady. No who d o I know has one, I want a shot.
  18. erm...if any bike had gone ar$e over tit like Jeroni's did last night I think it would leak fuel...it's simple physics, anyway didn't look like much more than a carbful and stopped dripping pretty quick.... boy has B*****ks that's for sure, that was a nasty crack he took
  19. Could move half these posts to the Xipsa website...... Okay give them the benefit of the doubt. "looks like a shed throw together" - well it probably is but then again does the company extend much beyond a big shed and a couple of lock ups.. 100K development - what did Beta spend on the Evo as a major player with 15-20yrs continuous development? What do GasGas spend on the Raga developments every year, lets not touch how much Honda will spend to save half a kilo on Bou's Monts. Crap cosmetically - ever promise a new design to a show and struggle to make deadlines?? The Evo (please note I am a huge Beta fan) - when it first came out how many posts were there about poor cosmetics, crap design, stupid place for the electrics, that rad cap is way to exposed, the carb will still p*** fuel everywhere.......etc etc etc How bout we see what happens. Greeves played a big part of my growing up because the old man had a couple and I'd love to see them make a go of it, but in the standard british way lets criticise straightaway. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and see what the next model looks like and how they develop the second proto and see if they can get one to the Scottish..... better than Xipsa have done after two years of promises. The fuel tank sounds interesting just a viewpoint
  20. Nooo, another website I haunt had it on there...no porn
  21. Think maybe you need to wake up and smell the coffee mate...you're dreaming again
  22. clicky Absolute genuis... you must listen to the lyrics
  23. Agreed, but the manufacturers are not going to change their development course for the Scottish anymore, it's all about WTC, rightly or wrongly. Gas Gas/Shirty got the bigger tanks made for the gassers which gave them enough range but them and maybe Montesa are the only one that could do that I suspect, Betas, Shercos, Scorpa etc design prevents that kind of development without changing the whole nature of the bikes. I suspect the old rules needs review but that's down to Overthehill and the rest to make that decision, if they want to, there's no obligation to do that.
  24. typical, reduced to a smutty response Mr Cope...
