Remember breaking my ankle playing ice hockey, warned not to go back on the ice for at least two week after the plaster came off.....which muppet went back to training the same night??? which muppet's old man was pi$$ed at the phone call from A&E, yup did it again.......

and Donald does the rest (DUCK) that is........it's nowt to do with me
Seriously
I said in another post a few months ago that what our favourite ubergeek has created here has changed the face of trials the a similar to what to the way TMX did 25+(?) years ago, therefore (credit to John that he has recognised this) this website and forum is the locus of trials in the UK primarily but to a certain extent globally as well.
If the ACU forum is to go ahead then perhaps, as a starter, John and the ACU could create a survey of sorts to get some kind of guide to where things stand at the moment and more importantly to get a guide to where the membership want to go, from there more detailed discussion might help the sport move forward in the way the membership and licence holder want it to. Like every organisation of it's sort, the ACU is only as strong as the people like ourselves who affiliate every year and within the UK ultimatley that is ACU though locally centres, MCUI Sacu etc.
I hope whatever happens works out and that Andy or whoever moderates it ensures that it's constructive. Our sport needs to move on not spend time slagging folk off.

He'll never do that job! He'll mek the kids hand over their brass in exchange for presents.
Better than MattP, if it is one MYP.... He'd scare the kiddiwinkies first

Agree, show wouldn't be the same without him. He's in the best hospital on the planet, that's from experience.
We lost a couple of kids (Mrs S has a few problems carrying sprogs) just after we got wed but I got posted to North Yorks and Mrs Slapshot got pregnant again (much to my concern....her health was at risk). She ended up in the same hospital as Hamster, I now have a 13 year old female brat despite the fact she weighed only 1lb 14oz when she was born (880 gms for the Kilo brigade) 15 weeks premature.... Hamster is in the best hospital there is with the best Medics and researchers anywhere.
Get well soon Richard
The guy is a biker as well.....

Correct, little round guy, wider than me, played in a lot of Jazz bands, hung around a lot with Gerry Boreland and Ronnie Peterson (you might know their names). Always remember that one cos my dad tried to buy it off him once upon a time for me to get into riding. If I remember it was yellow and white in colour.
Hamish wanted to buy the TLR I had but dad wanted more cash than was on offer at the time. Hamish always had honda's as far back as I can remember with the odd two stroke thrown in.
Got a copy of Tommy's book as well as the two SSDT ones. Tommy Sandham, another name from my distant past......

Bank Managers decision.....was always on the cards, HRC won't go too much longer without the best prosect, who at the moment is Bou. money talks

Prefer the 7R...
old memories, Big John knows a very old friend of my family and Scottish bike sport in general, Norrie Lamont. Norrie used to race 7Rs and won a manx TT race at some point in the distant past. As a youngster I remember being taken out one Saturday (mid/late 70's I suspect) to see this beast and then heading up the Fairlie Moor road to see it in action (our friends in blue were a little less conspicuous back then). All I can ever remember is the pace this thing went at and the noise, amazing...
Back to honda's it has been a love I've had since way back when, the TL 125's a local, Lex Allan had one bored out to 150cc and the frame altered to be more usable off road. From there through the one 's that Rob Shepard had, the Seeleys the TLRs and the RTL's. I got rid of mine for my own reasons but I'd have a Honda again in a shot....if she'd let me...
-
...and when you work for the government, thinking out of the box get's a visit from MI6 boys looking into your background, bank accounts etc etc and whether you signed the official secrets act as mickey mouse!!!
Watch the women.......
-
Deep thinking at aiport methinks... but hey guess what, our favourite ubergeek is spot on. Why has no-one thought about it before???
How many places have we ALL lost over the years that we could have help onto with a little bit of lateral thinking...nice one Andy
-
Part of the reason I changed mine, parts were getting more difficult to find and more expensive. I don't have the wherewithall to "make" special one off bits.
The prices look high to me, but understand the reasons many of you have quoted. Much as I love the Hondas I don't think I'd pay that money...(unless it was a mint RTL s version..but don't tell Mrs Slapshot)
-
makes you wonder what he types in a search engine doesn't it....
Cyber sex gone wrong video is superb as well
-
RS 250.......Starting price!!
TLR 250...pretty but at that price......
Gets worse, neither are worth close to their starting prices surely...
