.I don't think we are getting the whole story BS, the fact it is allowed to run x amount of event's sounds more like the DEFRA thing than council shutting the place down due to noise etc. I think the clubs that run event's up there will have more info than the odd bit of hear say we are getting My point earlier about the noise, is if they are using that to close places, and the fact is the bikes are within the legal limit, then it does need contesting or it will be used to shut a lot more places down.

Driving over Blubber house moor, our David said "Hey!! look at that that wheel passing us" I pulled over just has the wheel hit the curb and cleared a stone wall and rolled all the way down this steep field and landed in the beck at the bottom, it was our wheel off the bike trailer now that was unlucky. What was lucky, was our David was the young kid, so we kicked is ass down the field for the wheel, as I say! we all need a bit of luck

I was informed today of the passing of a good friend and Yorkshire trials stalwart Norman Pickles. I have known Norman since the first trial I ever rode, giving me advice on what line to take, and quick to point out it was my fault when I messed up, again this year at the SSDT, he was keeping me right on what line to take at Trotters burn, while he observed the section. cheers old lad, they don't come any better.

What law have you broken if your bike is tested and within the recommended limit, is it the local Silsden council or the west Yorkshire county council shutting this place down. Same will happen at Howden wood if you don't stand up for yourselves, they will take and take, and to tell you the truth, you are making it easy for them, because no one questions it, you just except it. If the law states that x amount of noise, in daylight hours is acceptable and your bikes are within that limit. how can they close it down lawfully ? plenty of clubs round there, it's time you got together and spent a bit of the club funds on a good lawyer to see if this is within the law, or some jobs worth playing emperor. What is the second hand market like for moving bikes on, are they many 06 bikes left in the showroom or at the importers, that is the true indicater on how well the sport is doing. What a load of B*****ks Papa, every club in the USA can run it's event's just how ever they see fit. If they want to run a national round, then yes! they do have to run it to the rules and regulations of the governing body, no different than the FIM or ACU. As for saying no membership voice of the AMA, every person attending the NATC agm meeting will more likely than not, be an AMA member. As Lane keeps posting all this ****, you must keep in mind he has been caring this grudge for thirty + years, and going to make sure you hear about it for the next 30 years, very sick, yes hits might jump on the site while people get a kick out of the forum for a while, but eventually site sponsors will start walking away has he will say anything about anyone.
