  1. The split in the middle looks bad! They could of been a bit more creative with the join! Some of the welding does not look to smart either. And the graphics are really bad, Sooooooooo bad. Especially the name down the tank, never reads well. They should have had a focus group before launch.
  2. It could be a fantastic bike! But first impressions are always important. It does not have WOW factor. Marketing is sooooooo important. There is No website, No mention on TMX website, Just a mention in the printed TMX, No pre-hype anywhere. No press release pics of someone famous riding it, No action videos on youtube or action pictures and from the attached picture there exhibition stand presentation looks crap. Its so important to have a link to someone or some thing thats already successful, product endorsement again can make a huge difference. It is a great selling tool to have someone famous linked, people need that reassurance before they will buy a completely new product. The graphics, well where do you start, maybe 1970! They are terrible. The graphics make the bike look dated already. The colours are wrong. everything is wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong about the look. stack up the 09 trials bikes in a row and the Greeves will not stand out. The new Beta as a package looks stunning compared to this effort. The cost in the current climate is so way out, with no justification (has no track record). The sad part is we need this bike to work to put the UK back on the map. It's saving grace is its weight!
  3. WOW! Thats a massive amount machined off that flywheel! What is the weight of the Flywheel in the picture please Arnoux? I have a 08 SY250 UK Spec If I have mine machined what would final weight you recommend? regards Darren
  4. A few years ago I used to apply vinyl graphics to rally cars and support vans and we always used small amount of soapy water. This will enable you to move the stickers around. when in position a squeegee over the top of the wax paper backing to remove any bubbles and water. leave for about an hr and remove the wax paper. If you have any small bubles pin prick them! MOST IMPORTANTLY MAKE SURE YOU START OFF WITH WELL PREPED SURFACE! No pant chips No adhesive from previous vinyl. Absolutely NO crease of oil. Clean the surface thoroughly. Using water is the correct way.
  5. I would part with your cash Quick or you may have to wait. A Montesa dealer told me today that all bikes are going to have a price hike of
  6. No Nooooooo I missed a the "s" off the end! www.bjmotosprorts.com
  7. Today I received in the post my new tank breather from BJ Motor sports in America. I found there website after looking at just about every tank breather option in the world! The Website address is www.bjmotorsports.com check it out. I must say it is really cool and very well made. This should be standard on all trials bikes. A very helpful nice company to deal with.
  8. I saw a Scorpa at the dirt bike show fitted with two different Scott Oil systems. One, between the front fork stanchions (behind your competition number plate or front light) connected to the vacuum pump on the inlet manifold. This only worked when the bike was running and could be adjusted to oil the chain automatically. Two, was a system mounted on the handle bars in the grips. If you squeezed the grip it dumped oil on the chain. Both where very good. The man telling me about it made some valid points. The spray on chain wax is sticky so will retain grit and dirt and this will work its way into the rollers and be like a grinding paste. With the Scott Oil it will wash out any git and dirt as the chain is constantly lubricated as you ride. If you power wash your bike after use put on a stand run the bike or squeeze the grip and dump fresh oil on the chain job done! Lets face it who enjoys cleaning chains! When I was a kid I used to use Duckhams chain lube. I had to heat it up on my mums cooker put the chain in and then let it drip till it set. My mum hated this as I droped it once on the kitchen floor and it smells bad to. My dad gave me a camping gas stove to use in the garage and it fell of the top onto the garage floor. Once it was set it was very hard to remove. I think I used petrol but this made the garage stink as well this then permeated into the house so my mum and dad were not happy.
