Yeah was thinking flywheel weight, just

didn't notice

it as much on my 09 which would

have had the same weight fitted

Ah right maybe the revving down slow ain't a problem if they all seem to

do it, just couldn't recall if my 09 did the same. Has your friend changed or adjusted anything on his 250?

Hi I have had my 2010 250 2t for a few weeks now and still

cant get it to run as crisp as my 09? The carb is set to

the standard settings as recommend by beta, 4th needle notch and 1 1/4 turns on the air screw. It seems to be

slow to pick up from tick over when the throttle is opened fully, just seems to lack response?

Also when revved then the throttle closed it seems to take a

while for the rpm to drop back to idle? Anyone found simular or got any ideas?

Has anyone had any problems with the evo rear swingarm cracking? i bought one of the first batch at the start of the year and my swing arm cracked on both sides on the brace which joins the two arms. Beta have been good and replaced it with a new one The new swingarm has extra plates welded to the underside to prevent this. Must have been a problem on the first few as ive seen a few more Evos and they all have the new stronger swingarm fitted.

Maybe everyone should just start busting urban trials in the towns and citys and give the police a real problem to deal with!!! Sure then they'd be happy with you riding in your disused quarry!!!

Hi i ve had a pair of those crazy expensive hebo's for only four months and they have fell to bits! in the last few weeks both inner ankles have huge holes in them where the stiching has come away. Defo wont be buying another pair!!! going to try a set of alpines this time.

Hi i removed the swingarm and showed my local dealer the problem, we fixed the problem by lightly cleaning up the outer faces of the swingarm where the bearing cups had been rubbing carefully with a file, only took fives mintues to do and made a big difference to the bike. Best bet is to see how bad yours is rubbing by removing the back wheel and disconnecting the linkage to the swingarm then see if it moves freely. Mine was sticking really bad and made the rear of the bike very slow to rebound.

Hi i have had my Evo 250 for a couple of months now and have found very little moan about, its a very easy bike to adjust to and feels very well balanced and the 250 motor has plenty of stomp. I had an 04 250 gasgas pro before which was good but showing its age so looked to replace it, alomst bought a 2009 gasgas! but when i saw the Evo it looked light years ahead in terms of design and build quality.

The only problem ive had is the sqeeking outer bearing cups in the swingarm, mine were catching so bad the swingarm was sticking! but this was easily fixed.

I have rode a friends 290 and its great but maybe a bit much for me, the 250 feels ideal i would recommed it to anyone looking for a new bike.
