While i agree that (all) B championship events should be run to the same rules as the World championship, there is one small problem. If you let riders stop in the sections, you need a time limit. This in turn needs one or two people to do this, now bearing in mind how hard it is to get observers in this country, how would we get time keepers for every section? At the British GP there was about 5 to a section, now if we could manage that at every B championship trial great, but in reality you won't . Untill the ACU or someone gets off it's ass and employs someone to promote trials in the media and the public eye, we will never get the mass interest in our sport that it deserves.

Addingham moorside yes, well spotted.
The C riders go up but the D class only have to ride off the top
Actualy..i think C/D class will be using different sections, as my son rides C class i've keep out of that one, the truth is, i don't know.

-
The A class will be riding down it towards the camara as well as up
-
Crap photo taken in evening, and you cannot realy see how steep & high it is but try this. From the top of the grass on the face to the top of the wall is about 4ft.
-
Would you trust your childern in the hands of this man
-
The first round tends to be the least hard one, there are never realy easy trials at British championship level.
Anyway there is a good mix of sections, some chalk climbs, rocks steps, some large imported rocks, a steep wooded area, and then (THE WALL)
-
Had a look around Shorwell with course designer Alan Gosden over the weekend, and the A/B sections will be amazing, no two the same, real riders sections, some big questions, and as for the wall section. Bring your camara
-
Andy I will sort it out but E mail me first so that i can give you the full SP.
And for those who wish to know, Steve Saunders will have the final say when it comes to building the course, i feel shore he knows how to take marks off people, after all he's bean around for years
We will be using about five articulated lorry loads of stuff, which will all be put together using large hiab lorrys & large 4+4 fork lifts.
Example, one section will consist of a artic trailer with a vehicle on top side ways on, first get up on the trailer and then get over the vehicle sideways, easy

Let me see
How much do you bet seams to be the natural question
Still would depend on the weather, would'nt want to dampen the old suit before dinner, it,s seen the odd splash of wine & gravey and lived. But one thinks that the jolly black grouse moor S*it would just about finnish it off.
But there again i could always save it for the last section, and the big finnish, i wonder, would anyone be serving cocktails at the end.
