Riders will be picked from the Wight two day entry, if it happens. I have also arranged a arena trial for the top youth riders in the country with Steve saunders on October 15 at the same venue. But i am rapidly learning that the more you try to do for people in this trials game, the more S**t you get from everyone. So with a extremly talented young son to look after i am starting to wonder if it's worth the trobule.

Due to a clash of dates with a dog show the IOW arena trial at Brickfields equestian centre will have to be moved to the Friday evening before the two day trial.(April 22). The event raised nearly

Ever since Micheal & his dad turned up to observe at the Eburacom C/D british championship round in 2003 i have the max respect for the guy.
How many other trials stars take a turn to help out on there day off?

I think it's time i said sorry for ever writing this artical, is was posted after finding out that despite my son winning the B class by 15 marks at the centre championship trial, he was not classified in the results because of his age. This matter is now in the hands of the centre trials committe to whom we are greatfull for there help. I would like to opolagise to anyone who has been upset by this artical, and now hope that the situation can be resolved by the proper channels.

If this in volves spell in, or sum's count me out

Because of the new rules a lot of people seem to be moving down to the 125cc bikes, and i'am talking about European standard riders. Power ain't everythink you know, it's all about body movement and timing. Get yourself a decent trials push bike, ( Monty, Mission, Onzo etc) and a good 125, and i'll bet you will be a better rider in 6 months.
-
If you go to page 125 of the 2005 A.C.U. handbook at the top of the page under UPGRADING it is all explaned

My son has recently won 6 youth C class's at centre level in a row and won the centre championship last year. He is now in his second year as a C class rider, so asked the centre committe if he could do the B class championship to which they agreed. The first round of that championship was held on 20/2/05 and he won it by 15 points. I have since found out that the club who ran the trial have given the win and therefore the championship points to the rider who was realy second because they say my son isn't old enough. Without P***ing anyone off what the hell can i do.

Heard Wayne Holdsworth had a nasty crash at the southern trials Sam Conner trial, just wondered how he is. And is he looking any better after landing on his face?

Has anyone out there noticed what this young star has been doing recently, his results speak for themselfs. He can be world class if someone gets behind him. The British youth trials championships has produced this great young rider that we can all be proud of, go on my son kick ass,and i hope you get all the help you need.
-
I think the new rules are ok, apart from the A class, I still can't see why the youth A riders can't ride 250cc bikes. I know it's to fall in line with the F I M but the top lads will one day be going from 125 to 270 at the sharp end of trials.

Who turned up from the youth team as the A.C.U. academy was holding a training session down the road at Nab quarry. A clash of dates, wondered who went were?

Would that be Boris Johnson Ex tory shadow cabinet minister in the back there, looks like he's just got something of his mind.

Whilst having the greatest respect for all the riders who will be competing in the British world round on july 31, i hope they are the one's that will be getting all the profits from the event. After visiting the web site i can't help thinking that some one is out to make money on the back of the trial, i just hope that the riders ride on a percentage basis. After all they are the one's that risk life and limb weekin weekout in persuit of there dream's. If this event will be live on BBC tv like the sport of Darts !, i would pay twice the ticket price asked. If the organisers of this event and the A.C.U. could get the TV Directors interested in this event, trials mite start to get the credit it deserves in this country. Will this event be a chance to get trials in to the public eye, or money into someones back pocket. I started riding trials in 1969 and still love the sport, i just hate riders being used for someone elses profit. ( forgive me )

The south western centre put on some of the best trials in the country, and in there gazette the trials are graded at the top of the page. So you know that a championship round is going to be fairly hard, but a trial listed as moderate grade B will be easy.
-
So how come an English man won 7 + world championship titles on the trot, but the average man in the street don't even know his name. The rugby team win the world cup and the whole nation go'es mad. Someone has missed the chance of a lifetime to get trails the credit it deserves. Should the A.C.U. have pushed the name of D Lampkin to the media like there lives dependen on it. Then perhaps we may have had 2 weeks of world trials action, instead of Darts.

After attending the A.C.U. youth awards today can't help feeling that the trials riders realy don't matter to the A.C.U. The Ex road race presenter guest who none of the kid would realy know, didn't turn up untill after the awards had been handed out. But the BYMX lads had Steven Sword to give there awards out. Why could'nt the A.C.U. have got Colley or Javis to have given the trials awards out to the kids, as one of them must have been attending the evening adult awards dinner. Knowing the time and effort some of our young trials stars put into there sport, i think thay get a bum deal.
-
So if you were going to pay to watch an indoor round who would you rather see, some young kid giving the stars a run for there money, or some poor local chap making an ass of himself and fiving most of the sections.
-
So now we know the result from round 3 of the world indoor championship, how come Bou didn't get a ride at Sheffield. He seens to be better indoors than out doors at the moment, he should be aloud to ride in the rest of the rounds at least.
-
I think everyone sort of missed the point, the original idea was for everyone to pick a rider and say why thay though that thay could be a future world champion but the topic sort of went in a different direction. So lets start again, pick a rider a fight his case, come on who gon'a win that world title for GB, and why.

I am right handed by day and left handed by night, i've just been let out of the mental institution, but it still hurts when i hit the ground,

What the hell has all this crap got to do with the original subject ?
Stop it now or i will tell my nan and she will come and spank the lot of you.
