Hello Everyone. New here. Now It's probably a stupid way to start my time here. But to me it's a valid question. I don't mean as in race. I mean which bike would you prefer and do you have experience on both bikes. Why I hear you ask? Well I'll tell you. My mates and I are competing in the Vintage Twinshock trials this year. In Aus. I jumped in first and bought a Italjet 350T. 1983 I think. It's greeen anyway. And heavy. 101 Kg's. My mate bought a Sherpa T 1976 250 first. When he rode my bike he liked the low down grunt. He has now bought a 1981 Sherpa T 350. A blue one. Now it weigh's 93 Kg's. I like my bike don't get me wrong. But when I rode the Sherpa T wow it turn's nice. It appears to have more pick-up too. But my bike has been fitted with a reed valve. I don't know if that is the difference or not. He call's my bike the Mack truck. It doesn't stop for anything. Do I now buy a Sherpa T ? To keep up with him or can I be competitive on the Italjet. We have been riding for a while together and I'd have to say we are on par with each other as far as skill goes. Very little that is. We both fall off about the same time. I thank you all for your time and thought's.

Hello, I'm from Aus. Going to start in the Vintage Twin Shock series in 2 weeks.It wasn't called vintage when my mates and I used to ride them .I'm Riding my Italjet 350T. Green one. Now don't turn me off , someone has to ride these things. Anyway I'm here for help if I can get it and maybe to give my opinion if anyone wants it. Thanks brt650
