It's the same ignition as used on the suzuki RL250 if that helps. I will probably have a spare in a while but getting it to you will be expensive
-
I disagree, i've had 2 and both were good. Very strong motors and reasonable handling make for a good novice and up bike. New spares are difficult but there is a specialist breaking them for spares. As with any water cooled bike if you boil it and keep running the damage will be terminal
-
Often the delorto has 2 slow running jets in the same hole, I know I missed that a few years ago. Worth considering taking it to Bill Pye who is not a million miles away. Need to get a move on though there is less thn 3 weeks to go to the Midland Classic trial at Rhodesia which is vey close to you
-
I could have fived all those sections in a fraction of the time!!!
-
What I have found with little bikes is that the slow running jets and galley ways are so small that they easily get blocked and are very difficult to clear out.
-
I've glued Suzuki magnets back in using Araldite (not the quick setting stuff). You should be able to see where the magnets were positioned, just takes a close look and a bit of detective work.
-
Don't think it is challenger as the fins are too thick and few.
-
If you go too low on the primary, clutch slip could be a problem. It also makes the bike harder to start. I prefer to go as low as possible on the gearbox sprcket
-
-
Belstaff themselves will do this
-
The physio at my doctors gave me some exercises to do which helped a lot
-
Try the Beamish owners club
-
No problems with fibre glass tanks in non road events so long they are not leaking
-
Both central wheel and Talon did them at one time
-
Put a trolley jack in between the two downtubes, heat up the bent one and it will straighten quite easily. To check if the frame is out of line set on a stand and use a spirit level to get the swinging arm arm spindle level, then check that the forks are vertical. My gut feel is that it will be ok.
-
Mine measures 11.5, which is smaller than other bikes I have, including a pitbike. 2T offroad in scotland should have one, or put a call out on cost optimised Fantic facebook page
-
I wouldn't use ATF as your clutch will probably already have a tendancy for the plates to stick together when left for more the a couple of weeks and using this oil willmake this worse. I would go for a light gear oil
-
I'd go for second hand wheels, some turn up on Ebay
-
If you have a small capacity 12v charger (or can borrow one) try charging each battery individually. The chargers aren't well made, mine certainly gave up and I know of others. Don't have to buy one from Oset though there are alternatives about.
-
Mine was gutless and I was a schoolboy then. It looks the wheels are already 18/21 as mine was
-
use the hubs from the K10/11 80cc Suzuki. I only have experience of using super six pistons, I think the GT250 ones are slightly shorter and may mess with the porting
-
I've done a couple of tanks which had gone thin and slightly holey using a sealent, can't remember the name - got it from Wyldes in Leeds
-
Cheers, did think it would stall easily
-
Join the optimised fantic part of facebook as they come up on there from time to time, the 125 one fits. Looks a really nice bike
-
the red one is knackered and the blue one is newer
