  2. You have point Dabster but think about this - the SY works better at no stop than most other brands 'right out of the box' - big lump or not - so maybe, just maybe there is life in the old dog yet... Paul M

    M92 Questions

I remember a story I heard that the knurling was there for the Road Race bikes - the story goes that the race bikes had shorter travel rear shocks set in a different position to the off road bikes and the front forks were just pushed up through the yolks to match - knowing Bulto's

  18. Hi Ridgrunr 600 ml for an oil change, 700 ml after a strip down - on a change, a qauntity of oil ( 100ml or so) gets trapped and dosn't drain. I change the oil ever two events with 600 ml and I've never had a problem. - There is a level plug on the kickstart side of the engine case too if that helps. Paul Mac
  19. Agreed Big John - I still have the original 'slab tank' that came with the bike, my poly tank is not one of the OEM tanks of the period, it
  20. Hi Big John - thanks for that, I'll give him a call - I need a few more bits anyway. Hi Wayne - I know what you mean - I bought the tank from Dave R when I was back in the UK a couple of years back but it had the wrong screen print decals on- fortunatly they don't stay on too long either - it's either the 45* heat or the Ausie fuel... so i figure vinyl might hang in a bit longer. Many thanks for your help Chaps. Regards Paul M
  21. Can anyone help with a source for 199b Tank Decals? I'm looking for vinyl rather than water slide transfers - I've tried the water slide transfers and I can't get them to stick to a poly tank. Thanks in advance Paul M
  22. I agree about the pipe - I put the S3 pipe (not inexpensive...) on my std 08 SY and it made a substantial difference to the bottom end. I guess when you consider all the extra
