Crankseals can go on two strokes if they are stood for awhile. have a friend with an evo 250 (2010) his cdi packed up causing it to run very hot. (but no white smoke) oil mix should be 70ml to 5ltr petrol but after seeing it last night i don't think its 2 stoke as it's white smoke Rich

Hi nelly1 To be honest i would have thought your using the best oil already! Putoline is very good trial pro tt (Blue) putoline mx9 castrol ttx is good but does not colour the petrol much and is easy to forget if you've put oil in it! rij

yeah, float bowl off gently push float tabs up and it tuns off. I've tried floats the other way but it would have to be forced on and that would keep the float valve shut tight. i have got the floats i with the pin at the bottom. rij

Hi the floats cant be upside down, it does not fit and would have to be forced to close it. anybody got a cheap mikuni of a beta or tk off a tyz yamaha??? rij

Ok can hear floats moving. Carb assembled turned upside down blow down the fuel intake and it shuts off still. floats are floating. turn correct way up and it leaks!! just taken apart completely no dirt everything blows through clean??

Hi, floats are ok not punctured, can't really tell if there moving when its all together but all seams free when the float bowl is off. the diagram look the same all present and correct! rij

hi, Driving me mad is a dellorto phbh26 it s over flowing. adjusted float height. its had a new float valve. turn it upside down blow down the fuel intake and its sealed, put the bowl back on and it leaks fuel again. scorpa easy 1996 250 rotax any ideas?? rij

hi i have the same on rev 3 200 2001 i've adjusted the fuel screw to 1 1/2 turns out this is a factory setting. hopefully this will sort it. its burning to much fuel and needs more air.

No it's the top bush that's worn out all the plating has worn off but I need new seals aswell. I've found somewhere called the splatshop they do fork parts for sherco I will check they are the right size. Need to get some neoprene fork protectors aswell. Doesn't seem to be many places doing paoila parts?

Hi, I change them for irc's which are super grippy very good in mud, my mate bought vee rubber could not get The front on to the rim and when we did after one ride out it had popped of the edge of the rim again! Every one I mention them to say's there rubbish! Depend what you want to do on them? Super serious trials or easier stuff you get what you pay for! Hope this helps! Rij

Hi, after kicking it over take the plug out and see if its wet this means you are getting fuel into it. has it a good spark? is it the correct plug? bp5es take the plug cap off and sparkplug out of the head hold the ht lead 1/2 " away from cylinder the spark should travel that far. Ive just had my killswitch fail so disconnect one of the wires and see if it starts. could be over fueling does it smell of petrol after kicking over could be an air leak between carb and crankcase? old reads? are they closing properly? dirty air filter? hope this helps? let us know! Hi oil capacity if it's a yamaha engine is normaly on the engine case by the filler cap. 6psi front 4psi rear some people run other pressures depending on condition and what the ground is like. Again spocket size some people run low gearing so they don't need to use the clutch as much. Hope thus helps rij
