  1. Just a note, be careful using stainless bolt with stainless nuts. They tend to gauld themselves together.
  2. Great Job There CMAN! I think the guys checking on the lower part of that section where not very experienced and may have had a tough time making the calls. I've never seen such grooming in my life! Those minders (Fugi and Bou) are real landscape architects! I think your movies keep getting better and better btw.
  3. If you mean NY City, your a LONG way from these events. I grew up in the middle of these trials area and like most folks there, have never been to NYC. Two completely different worlds, dairy farm country. People think that if your from NY your from NYC. I'd love to drop them off in the middle of the Adirondacks and let them look for sky scrapers.
  4. HooooooRayyyyyy. I tried to explain the positive stop method a few years back and some know it all's tried to blast me on it. My response was nothing. They can go pound sand if their so smart!
  5. Not Martin, I told him in section 6 yesterday, PLEASE Martin, don't ever get one of those things! He smiled and agreed.
  6. Any one have all the info on the 125 Future bike? Stock Montesa/ Honda bottom end and.......?
  7. Sure, we saw one at the USA world rounds. It was a 50cc with a 4 year old on it!
  8. Are you you don't mean advance the cam timing? Usually advancing cam timing and or retarding ignition timing softens the bottom end.
  9. I'd like to give props (I think that's what the kids say) to Cody Webb. 7th place Junior Class on Sunday! Good job Cody, you placed ahead of several VERY good riders, keep up the good work!
  10. The TLR is different from the XL/XR 185/200's I know. Can the spark timing be adjusted on these? Will the adjustable timing sprocket for the 185/200 fit the TLR head and cam? I just got my TL125 with a 200 stroke and bore running and it's time for me to tweak the thing. It's a little jerky right now. I may need to reduce the CR even more or play with the timing and jetting.
  11. Hi Griff. Good job on the site. I did the logo btw. Looks like I'll be there driving a big side by side thanks to Paul Thistle and Blue Ridge Yamaha and Polaris. Andy, (if you read this) I lasered a new pen for you yesterday and I'll have it in my pocket. I may do one for Dougie today if you can get it to him.
  12. Don't know Bo, but I bet you'll have to make a new custom cable to go to a Domino. Hard to think that the 200 would be firey, can you back the timing off a bit and see what happens?
  13. Rick, I've been looking for years now with no luck. I've tried the Trials trophy place that Jack has the link to with no luck. I've e mailed and even called them until I gave up. I tried all my suppliers. If you find some let me know. I've been having steel CNC plasma cut to make trophies trials specific. Just finishing the world round ones up today.
  14. I didn't know Andy even played guitar. What about the other 5 strings?
  15. Hi yall, Welcome to the USA! Take a look at this site. http://trialsusgp.com/ Look around and print out the TTC map to help find the sections. Watch the videos. See the pictures. Introduce your self if you see me. I ll be fiddling with the trophies. Brian
  16. Rick, where are you located?
  17. Just looking at the FIM site. Gee, Tony looks a lot like Adam these days! http://www.trialonline.org/
  18. Thanks for the pictures and the updates. We're all cheering for Pat. Don't expect me to feel too sorry for you for being there though!!! Got to be better than Chicago!
  19. No slipping with Mobil 1? I think it will take 1 quart but I could be wrong. It's got a really neat invention called a dip stick.

    08 3.2 Opinions

Woody, sound as if the CR is up a little on the bike. I wonder if the timing was bumped up too.
  21. Going by Ryan Young, loosen the bars, put your straight allen wrench in the top bolt of the clamp, put your cross brace (with out the pad) up to the wrench, just touching. That should be a good starting position. The bars will be almost straight up and down.
  22. IRC also makes a trials tire that is harder than their REAL trials tire. Cheap too. Cheng Shins also come to mind. Probably last 80,000 miles!
  23. Yes, it seems like the early ones were 99cc or so. You could swap wheels, tires, forks ......... I think the big wheels go on without much problem, maybe the fender stay is different. Al B would know if he'd get over here and post.
