  1. Hi Peter, Your float level isn't going to make the bike run a little rich. It only turns on or off the the needle to keep the bowl full without having it too full. What is the bike doing now? Fouling plugs?
  2. From my stand point, I need a little time to know how many awards to make. It especially helps for the Youth Nationals where everyone gets something every day.

    Seeley

I've often wondered how hard and how expensive it would be to get a descent 79 Seeley sent over here to the USA.
  4. I would have thought the tanks were made from Polyethylene?
  5. Yep, Grapevine Racing Machine Others will know much more than me. There was a good article a while back in Trials Comp. It was when Bill Grapevine passed away. He also made a trials bicycle called a Maverick? Ryan Young rode one. I think the bikes were made in Mexico with a Moto Islo engine. Supposed to have chromoly tubing but ended up being just steel, long story. We had one when I was a kid, so you know they're old!
  6. Go to B&J Racing and buy a 3 position clutch lever. It's a bolt on.

    Tl 125 Head

As a suggestion, I'd look at a parts breaker someplace to find a used head in good shape. Take a close look at the bearing surfaces you mention and look at the bolt that holds the top of the timing chain adjuster to make sure it's not stripped out. They can be fixed with a helicoil but make sure to grind a little extra off the helicoil if fixing. The stock helicoil will be a shade too long and want to screw out with the bolt instead of staying put. Don't let all that power get you hurt!

    Tl 125 Head

Yep. Going BIG (for a 125) Soon! Looking for CDI parts.

    Tl 125 Head

It might help to add your location to your profile. I'm guessing it's the one piece head? Pre 1976?
  10. Take a look at the ITSA. We are doing what AHRMA isn't. Air cooled, Twin Shock, Drum brakes. You can even make a "special" in fact it's encouraged! Look! http://metalmarkers.tripod.com/hondatrials/id15.html
  11. Personally, unless your made of money, I'd get the newest Rev 3 in the best shape I could. The two stroke Beta will last an extremely long time. Trials bike just don't go through the beating of an MX bike due to just putting around (low rpm's)most of the time. They will last for years with no re bore for most people. Run it at 75:1 full synthetic, clean the air filter often, change the gear oil every couple of events. The new four strokes are great but I'd just as soon let others work out any bugs before I'd lay out my cash.
  12. That feller on the Sherco doesn't look as tired as the other two. Must be a better bike.
  13. Thanks Phil, I did as bad as I remembered!
  14. Muddy Tires, you can get an adjustable cam sprocket from Parts Unlimited.(cheap) Advancing the cam should help the bottom end power. It does on race cars. Why isn't this on the Honda forum Cope!!!
  15. The STRA has services on Sunday morning before the events.
  16. I refuse to comment on this thread!
  17. I saw one Rev 3 that all the aluminum had been polished. Sweet.
  18. Were you meaning to put this on the Honda forums?
  19. Has anyone put fat bars on a Rev3 that are taller than stock? I'm looking for something with a trials bend like the 6" Renthals only in a fat bar. I know I'll need the fat bar clamps.
  20. I love to read about your trials with Hodaka! I think you should call that bike the "poison dart frog" with those colors!
  21. Here's some video of Pat. http://www.trialstrainingcenter.com/
  22. Just sorry my Predators are out. Finally got some good top name players and did worse than last year. I hate San Jose!
  23. Did you get it fixed?
  24. You also may want to try disconnecting the kill switch, it could be arching at high revs.
